Here is a thought for everyone. I take Rivian service over having to deal with a dealer to purchase a car. I have owned a lot of cars and can say without a doubt the no dealer model for a buying experience alone is reason to overlook any perceived service headache...

Someone posted in the chat and got a detailed answer from Rivian. The LE / P models 21" and 20" are both forged aluminum. The 20" is about 10% less efficient in range due to rolling resistance. The 21" is purely being the standard to achieve max range. This also applies to tire option. Expect...

I have to say at $3k for the 20" I am going to stay with the 21's then buy aftermarket.

I do a set a year. I average about 20k miles per year. the stock 21's did not even last me 13k miles... My 20's with Defenders will get 45-50k out of 1 set. Not to mention the better drive and road noise reduction.

Less than a 3yr ROI then in the positive. If i plan to keep my car 5 year then the savings are huge. Also keep in mind this is just for use replacement. This does not include any tire damage. Once you factor that it its almost a no brainer.
