It is certainly smoother over bumps especially at <5 mph speeds. At high speed I liked the added softness but at the same time, rolling effect is hurting my neck.
Just curious to know, what kind of technical issues were they? If it was on Rivian then I would have expected them to replace the vehicle or pay those taxes on top of matching the price of trade in.
Well I do see the new uodates but if you look closely, it is estimating less range in conserve compared to All purpose. That kind of mutes the purpose of this planning feature because majority of highway usually happens in conserve.
Just go ahead and call them and ask for shop access with readiness to pick from existing inventory, they might just do it. I was 10/21 pre order yet got shop access back in mid June and accepted delivery of my S within 10 days.
It precisely took 10 days for me from requesting shop access to delivery.
6/13 - shop access requested (I had to call and chat few times to ensure my request is in place as intended.)
6/14 - Visited SC to review all color options, (we narrowed down our choices to 3 exterior and 1 interior...
Yes, Settings -> Access -> Set Position under Roomy entry and exit.
Personally I would recommend to set position with someone seating in backseat. I kept my 1 year old's car seat there so mostly consistent space needed all the time.

Including the fingers, it is around 1cm in size. Let me double check with my insurance, if they cover the charges I can better get it done by professionals.
Any recommendations on fixing this chip? It is close to penny in size. It was part of my service request earlier and Rivian's recommendation was replacement & quoted me $1700. I have to pay OOP but insurance will pay me back (excluding $50 deductible).
Agree, I forgot to mention but I am already up for windshield replacement and Rivian quoted $1700. Luckily, I have $50 deductible for glass so saved there.
Glad it worked out for @rivrum.
Is anyone aware of any thread or consolidated document where such problems & troubleshooting steps documented? It can be a life saver, especially in middle of road trips.
I was with Progressive before switching and they quoted me around $1200/6 months, also they didn't offer vehicle replacement & glass coverage. Still, I am paying pretty high price. Not sure why.
It appears that insurance is way cheaper in other states compared to TX. I am paying $2500/year for 2 cars 2 drivers, for Rivian it will be ~$2000/year with Electric Insurance. 6 years of clean history for both of us and this rate is after corporate discount. I was quoted in >$3000/year by...
Re-sharing my thoughts on this feature,
New one touch garage opening feature is great and works perfectly fine but I am little concerned that someday it will lead to an accidental open/close while someone is around the garage door because it stays active almost all the time at home. IMO it is...
