Hey everyone,
The Air Cruiser is back 🙌
We’ve got brand-new stock of the very latest model landing this February.
Since launch, the Air Cruiser has really taken the Rivian community by storm. We’ve seen a huge uptake, and for good reason — it’s genuinely a perfect match for the Rivian, with...
Sure, when did you purchase? We upgraded the mounting kit last year and we've added some locking nuts this year as well. You can message me [email protected] and we can sort some out for you with the next shipment.
Hi Troy,
Super — thanks for jumping on board.
Yes, we’ll definitely be running the discount. Manufacturing costs have increased, so the unit price will go up going forward, but for this first run we’re holding last year’s pricing.
I’ll put a post up later this week with full details on the...
🙌 we’ve managed to get a few more units sent over from our UK warehouse, they land at the end of the month and that will be it until Feb 2026 then 👍
Love this :) Mind if we use your pics?
The brackets are a universal bracket and cross bars aren't meant to sit perfectly in them (although it's fine if they do) The brackets shaped so that all cross bars will have a friction point on the rubber so although it might not look it to the eye...
Hi Jody,
Jake from Cinch here – we make the Air Cruiser, which has seen huge uptake in the Rivian community.
There’s plenty of discussion on the forums already, so I won’t repeat too much, but here’s what stands out:
More space from a lighter, smaller package – perfect for Rivian owners...
It’s because you’ve created a wind tunnel on the roof, it will be the same with anything you put on the cross bars as the wind will pass underneath. Some chord wrapped around the cross bars disperses the wind as it passes through so it won’t whistle, pretty cool when you think about it.
It’s not actually the Air Cruiser itself, it’s the wind pushing through the cross bars. There’s an easy little hack that solves it involving some bungee chord wrapped around your cross bars. I’m out and about at the mo but will send the details when I get back 👍
Hi Dixon,
We've had a couple of customers buy 2 Air Cruiser's for their R1T and have one on the back and 1 over the cab, essentially giving you 2 rooms. I suppose that depends if you wanted separate rooms.
My personal advice would be that putting the X Cover on the cab would do the trick but...
It’s actually great to hear your perspective on the Dometic. We love listening to people’s opinions on different outdoor products — we have customer-focused R&D and develop most of our products based on real-world feedback. I didn’t get the sense you were tied to Dometic at all — just sharing...
Hi, Jake from Cinch here – the Air Cruiser guy!
Hope you don’t mind me jumping in – just wanted to clarify a couple of things for anyone researching on the forum, as there are a few details that aren’t quite right.
First off, I’ll say I actually really like the Dometic. It’s a solid tent and...
Those brackets and hinges can take a lot, you'd be ok but the ladder is definitely needed as well. You don't want it too steep that it would slip, a standard ladder angle is the best :)
Sure, you could do that no problem, you'd just need to make sure the base was level when folded out, so you'd have to work out some sort of support, two little blocks would do it.
They're manufactured in China by Wildland, one of the world’s leading rooftop tent manufacturers. Cinch is a U.S. company based out of Wyoming, run by a pair of British guys — a truly international outfit. :)
Here’s a short video about Wildland if you’d like to take a look: . They've been in...
