If you talk to anyone that off-roads, they've drool and froth at the mouth when they hear the truck has four motors. One for each wheel. Given the mission and objective of the brand, I don't think the quad motor is going anywhere.
Quad motor will migrate from Bosch to in-house motors with a combined total horsepower over 1,000.
The quad motor will be positioned as a performance variant with a more significant performance gap between the dual motor and the quad.

Now that you own a high end car, and pay a high end premium, if anything ever happens and they are giving you the run around-- then act like a high end customer. It's the little guys they usually try to take advantage of. They like the customers who pay larger premiums.
I've had a car totaled...
Just looked it up-- at least in Cali taxes and registration are included in the payout:
If totaled, California law mandates that the policyholder receive the actual cash value from the insurance company for a qualifying loss. The insurance company will also be required to pay the sales tax and...
FWIW I've never had an issue with water in my doors. My R1T also has the powered tonneau and I've never had an issue with dust. I've even had to open my tonneau when it's covered in dust and it opens and closes just fine.
With your accident, I am assuming you had the option of paying a deductible and having insurance pay for the repair? Did they pay for the $2200 repair by Mike? If not, why choose to pay $2200 out of pocket vs just paying your deductible?

Genuinely curious if I am missing something here...
For what it's worth, I've ripped through mud, water, and a little bit of snow, and I don't have the underbody shield, and my underbody panels are just fine.
One person had a bad experience in the internet goes crazy.

About PPF... put a condom on your truck if you wish.
Joke aside, what people don't consider about PPF:
- initial cost (ok, most people consider this)
- It has an 8 to 10 year lifespan. You will have to pay to have it removed and redone. You wait too long and it could be rather difficult to...
