like others here have said, the current queue stands at end of April beginning of May 2022, you might have a bit to still wait. they wont tell you where you sit because they have no clue as to how many and when tesla will deliver them and so they have no Idea when you should expect to get yours.
launch edition R1T owner here, give me a good deal for a gen 2 quad motor R1T, and i'm in. the only thing that keeps me on the fence is I wonder if in 2 years they will bring the new steering wheel to the R1's I would hold out for that and possibly more HP. I want a 9 sec truck!!
RJ had mentioned in multiple previous interviews that the 110 isnt due to tires but because of the weight of the vehicles, I also remember when people were invited to the original gen 1, R1 event in Normal, those trucks were also doing more than 110 in the straight away. wth launch its good that...
At first I thought the same thing, then after talking to a buddy of mine that works in the autonomous driving/computer vision field he corrected me and said it actually is really good for training. And it's a really way to gauge how well it's learning.
with all the miles rivian is getting from the amazon vans, i wouldn't be surprised to see them catch up to tesla faster than most think. also its my understanding that blue cruise and super cruise are on par with tesla and some even consider them better currently.
seems lighter, but i did confirm the vehicle is still not 100% final, so glass color can change. Frunk looks definitely smaller, but still bigger than what a lot of others are offering. as far as touching, there are like 6 people watching every ones slightest twitch towards the vehicle...
That's not a bad idea, I wonder if there's a way to have them show that at one of the R2 events? To me the space looks bigger that that of the R1S ( with the back row up of course), but that's just my perception though, I could be wrong. But It does look to me that it has more space than most...
typically labor is $100 for tire mount/balance, i think they took advantage with the "general tire diagnostic" fee, at my local SC in Miami, the price is the $407 + Labor + taxes/fees. if you go the discount tire route(which rivian customer service gives you as an option to go there when you...
am i the only one that feels like the R1T drives smaller than it is? if that makes sense to any one. I went from a grand cherokee overland eco-diesel to the R1T. the T is roughly 17" longer than the GC but i feel like it drives and maneuvers the same. I live in Miami and also find the T to...
its a lot of range, yes. but its less efficient than a rivian. throw a battery that big in a rivian and it'll also do 500+ miles. what they should be trying to do is make the trucks more efficient/ better aero, not throw the biggest battery they can fit. if you charge at home it's going to...
I
I just saw one of the Rivian EDV for the first time in south FL (Miami-Dade county) specifically in the Hialeah/Opa-Locka area. Pretty cool seeing this in person even though it was on the highway and going in the opposite direction.
i had similar area damage, little bit less, but same area and probably similar repair. my total was $15k in damage let us know what your total comes out to
I'm at 10k miles and all those miles were on conserve mode and i had nowhere near that kind of wear. you can see wear on my tires, but only because the rears look brand new. if there was no rear for reference, you'd say the fronts were pretty new
Ford announced being over 3 billion in the red in the EV sector, led by the lightning...
Funny I said this would happen and was told that I was making baseless accusations and I didn't know what I was talking about when I said that the lightning was being sold at a loss when clearly it was as...
If i were you i would also reach out the your nearest rivian certified collision center and ask them which insurance they have the least problems with getting a claim paid for. i did this and was told Geico or Nationwide, when i called rivian insurance, the very nice guy i spoke with was very...
This sucks, but want to give you a heads up on statefarm, I had a recent fender bender, the rear quarter panel repair was $15k waited 4 weeks for parts, 5 weeks for the repair, and it took 6 weeks, my truck sitting in the rivian certified collision center looking like new, just sitting there...
like everyone said, can't blame you, your reasons for switching to a (Y) make sense. before you do though, i would have to say that i think you should listen to @swhme and try and rent a (Y) for a day or two, and an R1T (if you can) to compare the two. I my self pre ordered in Aug 2019 and took...
