I believe the “authorized” shops are not repairing anything, simply replacing the parts and painting them. Full coverage insurance is to make the vehicle as close to new as possible. If you hit me, this is the work I want done. If I hit my own mailbox, I get the dent repaired at my own...
I’d think the opposite to be true. The higher the PSI the harder the tire and better efficiency. I always run a little lower than recommended to improve the ride quality at the expense of MPG.
This R1T is also an incomplete work in progress. Aftermarket fenders and flaps could help the look. A Ford Raptor style option. I don’t particularly care for the look, but that’s what Ford had to do for the extra wide stance.
Obviously it’s not practical, but as a trophy truck it’s looks good to me. Little less offset may look better.
I need extra wide tires on my truck for regular driving on very soft sand, so I welcome aftermarket lift options to help those who are looking to upgrade for different applications...
I think “city driving” is considered Stop and Go, not everything other than interstate travel. So yea, 45-55 average sounds like combined woth not much Stop/Go.
I do mostly City driving with short trips and my average speed is 27mph.
I’d add, most folks buy Exotocs as status symbols. So as long as they remain exclusive they will do fine. I hope they continue push the envelope on performance outside of simply acceleration.

I’m glad it’s technically drivable, but my hot rod would also drive without any of the electronics working but it’s certainly not street legal.

Yikes! Give USAA a try. Just quoted a multi car policy, (2023 Honda, 2023 R1T) $1644 for the year. And that includes a few extras for Valuable personal property, and a renters policy.
