I don't think EV are for everyone yet at all but at the same time the only thing MOST people need is daily driver for commutes and almost every EV can work for that use case already, at least, regardless of cold/hot. Just maybe not if you have like a 2 hour commute or something.

I thought mine were goofed but i found if i set it in lightly then locked it with no down pressure the latches all engaged correctly.

Well this could be misleading if they had a relatively short trip then it probably spent the whole trip getting battery/cabin to temp then efficiency would shoot up to normal. The best solution (realistically) is for departure schedule. Can use charger to warm up car/battery then the trip will...

I kinda like the idea of the bolted on version. As he mentioned the screws/bolts look better than the ones used in sample pictures but also gives me opportunity to maybe do some custom powdercoating/maintenance/etc. Also send me my order early and I'll do the efficiency test:)

If it helps - I change cars a lot and someone asked me 'how long you going to keep that one haha' and honestly couldn't think of anything I'd rather have. Not to say there aren't any good vehicles but, just love this one.

Yeah i'm actually a big fan of the under seat as it's pretty easy to reach without looking for storage or taking them out.

It's not that complicated. There will be an aero piece that will affect the aesthetic but improve aero. Like the aero bits on the wheels, you get to decide if you want to use them.

Definitely however Teslas still have this issue in Model X so it doesn't give me a ton of hope. Power and weight, may not be a thing that can be solved without dialing back power.

I think it'd be kinda cool to have some adapters that fit into the cargo rack slots and have an aditional bit on them that's metallic/magnetic, then a cover that hooks into those and has magnets to keep the corners down(so it's tight). Then you could lock it down a bit.

I think there's a lot of people that would prefer the powered turned off so they could get the fix later because they already said that it's not retro capable to have a non powered version. Otherwise you would HAVE to sell the truck to get one with the 'fixed version' later. And worst case you...
