Compressor seems fine, but m getting a lot of “vehicles alarm triggered” messages from the app. Like a lot, and the truck is sitting by itself in the middle of nowhere..
Hmm, I get they’re back ordered but a full sales funnel is a good thing. Like I said I don’t work in the marketing side of finance but to me too much demand for what I’m selling would be a good problem to have, especially if I were building a $1B+ facility to make more product.
anyway, figured...
I’m in IT, not in finance or marketing, so I’m curious if those that understand that side of the business might know when we might see a Rivian commercial on TV? Or, maybe why haven’t we seen one to this point? Almost daily I have people ask what the heck this thing is..
Just a thought, but I...
No one really knows yet what it'll cost. We're all hopefully 8 years from having to worry about it. My hope is battery technology grows leaps and bounds and they're able to offer a replacement option at something less than $10k (again, 8 years from now). Guess we'll see
Whoever told you that you don't need to blow out your sprinklers at the end of fall is nuts, especially where you know it's going to freeze solid at least a foot down, probably more like two feet down.
I couldn't imagine having to dig up every line to try and find where a pipe burst cause of...
If this were a poll, I'd vote for "Not Excited/Don't Care" --- I really don't have anything against Musk or Tesla, but the CT is just flat out ugly to me. Ford's EV looks like any other Ford and at least the chevy EV is a bit more distinguishable from other Silverado's. If Musk was going for...
Yes, these Rivians are fun to drive, but I’d rather have one where the tonneau works, it doesn’t make squeaky or clicking noises, loud wind sounds, or a tailgate that doesn’t always drop, or bolts falling out of the bottom shield. For those still waiting for delivery, I do think you’ll be...
agreed, this is going to have to be more that just another motor. Mines got jammed so many times the black plastic liner in side each rail is peeled off and crinkled up in a pile half way through, I’ve got three panels sitting on the garage shelf and another two of the panels still jammed in...
^ yeah, when ya put it like that it pisses a guy off a bit. They knew it was junk well before the first one shipped out to a customer and still went with it. Gonna cost them dearly but it’s gotta be done now.
Can’t say I blame them making this move. They just need to fix the flawed design, make it right for those with broken covers and move forward.
its already been mentioned, but how this past quality control to begin with is beyond me.
@F1shSkier, yep just got a text from Adrian that he's just leaving KC and will be here after lunchtime, even though the appointment was at 10am this morning. Ugh. Also, I had a few other things that need fixed and they said that this trip is all about the recall and I'd have to schedule...
I had the same thought as well and picked up some outdoor acrylic from Michael’s. It’s Fiesta yellow in case anyone is wondering.. anyway, I heated the floor mat first, painted, heated, painted, heated and let sit in the house/warm for a couple days. We’ll see if it holds. Already made it...
They're coming from Kansas City SC at least the last ones did that were here. The rep mentioned they're trying to do these mobile recall fixes by zones so they send them one direction and then have everyone come to them once they're in that area. Who knows, maybe they'll ask all of us to show...
I gave the underbody on mine a good look yesterday, and I'm also missing a couple bolts/screws that hold up the underbody shield. Suppose I'll just pull one of the existing ones out and see if I can match it at tractor supply or something. Also got my recall visit/checkup scheduled for next...
