Same here. Dual Motor 24 R1T (gen 1)… also lost high regen. I upgraded last night. I’ll open a service ticket. That’s probably the only way undocumented features (bugs) would get noticed.

They already have the platform to compete with the sprinter… like a slightly scaled back EDV with maybe a larger battery. They just need to sell a variant outside of their fleet sales.

The button on the left would be two buttons if it had the PTC. I heard the service centers will start offering them as an upgrade this fall. The wiring harness is already there just unused. It just needs the unit added, a new button and a software update.

True - but since it is an EV, the software is really deciding what kind of car it is anyway. With the right restrictions, you can make it less of a hellcat and more of a Ford Maverick. Rivian and Tesla have been doing this to us already in normal modes. Think about it... only sport mode unlocks...

I have standard + in my Dual motor R1T. As soon as I realized I have a software locked max pack, I started charging to 95% regularly. That’s a 296 mile charge. Might as well. The battery is already running at only 85% of its potential through software controls.

Even though they are expensive (and an EVGO plan does nothing to help you here), the Pilot / Flying J centers run by EVGO that are opening up around the country are pretty nice and would be a good alternative - with about the same price as a Tesla Supercharger. They are all 24/7 travel centers...
