Agreed, however it will get them in the habit of (hopefully) not giving service and potential (unlock performance and range) away hopefully better margins but I don't know the business well enough. R2 just needs to be really good and really successful if they are going to make it.
They know what they need to do. It doesn't change much from quarter to quarter until it does. Until then, they make it clear they know what the objective is. It's not like they can just make stuff up.
I'm supportive of Rivian not defaulting to Carplay and continuing to evolve their own stack, which I think will be superior to Carplay in the Rivian. I understand it does create pain points for customers during the process, but nothing some Advil can't handle.
