  1. Atlanta Service Center Experience

There was a black one tucked in by the garage bays when I was there. Couldn't see it from the street.
  2. Atlanta Service Center Experience

Didn't do an exact count, but I did notice there were some of every wheel type. Saw bright and black wheels.
  3. Atlanta Service Center Experience

    There were actually 2 ha
  4. R1S updated estimated delivery window email (received June 11)

For what it's worth, the employees I spoke with at the Atlanta Service center today had never seen an R1S, and had no idea when they would be shipping to regular customers.
  5. Atlanta Service Center Experience

To clarify, the permanent site is open!
  6. Atlanta Service Center Experience

Just stopped by the Atlanta Service Center and wanted to share my overall good experience. Rolled up around 2p after having driven 4 hrs+ back from Savannah with my wide and youngest (of three). We needed to stop and at least SEE one truck before I purchased one. The team inside was very...
  7. R1T updated estimated delivery window email (received June 11)

Per CS I will be invited "in the near future" (s00n!) Supposedly, all else being equal (ie same location), invites purely based on order date
  8. R1T updated estimated delivery window email (received June 11)

The items on my list are subject to physical product inventory constraints. Not true as far as I know for paint. That said, 100% could be true that due to batching there are very slight delays on the order of a few days to weeks for uncommon color combos. Just not the several months to years...
  9. R1S updated estimated delivery window email (received June 11)

Yea you are treated as any other R1T preorder holder. I know of several people who changed and have 2022 windows.
  10. R1T updated estimated delivery window email (received June 11)

All anecdotal since Rivian never answers a question in a straightforward manner. 1) Had noticed lots of 21s lately, which admittedly could be due to batching 2) Lots of 20s had bumped back delivery windows 3) On one of the Shop threads, there was mention that a guide told the OP he basically...
  11. R1T updated estimated delivery window email (received June 11)

I don't think color matters. The things I've determinwd that'll slow you down in no particular order: 20 AT Manual Tonneau Max pack Explore OC interior R1S Bad location far from service center
  12. October - November 2022 (New 6/11 delivery estimate)

At least you got a First Mile? 8/20 order and crickets. As an inveterate optimist (masochist?), I'm going to follow this thread, despite now having a Nov - Dec 22 window.
  13. R1T updated estimated delivery window email (received June 11)

I've seen several manual tonneaus slide to the end of the year. I strongly suspect this is the prevailing "supply constraint" for non-OC R1Ts.
  14. R1T updated estimated delivery window email (received June 11)

I just really can't see myself configuring the powered tonneau. I know it's gonna break at some inopportune time. That said, if an exact match for my config but with a powered tonneau comes along in the Shop I'm going to probably buy it o_O
  15. R1T updated estimated delivery window email (received June 11)

I'm exactly in your shoes, but with a delivery date nov-dec. Pre-ordered 8/20. Curious, do you have the Manual or powered tonneau configured? I had Manual. That's my guess as to why I'm so late.
  16. R1S update email from Rivian (June 11)

I am a 8/20 R1T common order combo (not OC), and made an order change like you mention. It seems I'm behind most 2021 orders with a Nov/Dec 22 delivery date. So I wanted expect to get that second truck before next year either.
  17. R1T updated estimated delivery window email (received June 11)

I swapped from a Max Explore to a Large / Adventure / BM and my delivery window only went from 23H1 to Nov/Dec 22. If I don't see a very close match in my Shop window I'll likely swap back to a Max and just wait the extra 6 months. If my window had jumped way up I'd have stuck with the large...
  18. R1S update email from Rivian (June 11)

One optimistic (but unlikely) thought: "Over the next two weeks, we'll share delivery windows with R1S customers who have updated delivery timing in 2022" could be interpreted as some people have actually had their delivery timing moved up if they have the perfect build.
