More implying that its not an essential feature to make an electric truck go. Sometimes it feels like folks here are more interested in purchasing an App than an electric truck.
I get that people are disappointed in the lack of CarPlay, but do we need to be reminded about that in every...
One of my first vehicles was a 1965 F-250. I likely learned how to drive stick in that truck.
Got me around just fine, despite the lack of Apple CarPlay.
And specifically, Corey Ershow from Rivian describes The Rivian Parks Program as a proposal to place L2 stations in parks and other outdoor recreation areas before he ever mentions Colorado specifically. Sounds like a pretty clear statement that Rivian is working on other government...
Here is the video from the Colorado Parks & Wildlife Commission approving the MoU with Rivian for L2 charging stations in Colorado State Parks. This was not immediately available last week.

I recall a photo on here where we saw Rivian blue interior door panels under a wrap of this style. I do not think it is a transparent wrap.
However, I wouldn't be surprised if the dark green color in this wrap is a close approximation of what Launch Green will look like on the R1T.
Hopefully the aero inserts are a little difficult to install and remove. Otherwise, I would worry every time parking in a public place that somebody walking by would try to grab a Rivian souvenir.
This seems like a very notable hole, really the whole Yampa river basin in Colorado is missing a RAN station. There are Tesla superchargers in Kremling and Craig.
I’m not sure you could confidently drive west from Fort Collins through Poudre canyon towards North Park with a CCS vehicle. I’m...
It would be insane for Rivian to have the “eye awareness camera” on and monitoring the driver when you’re not using autonomous or assisted driving. So insane that I have to imagine Rivian would automatically disable it.
For example, imagine you legally drive through an intersection in your R1T...
Inside the configurator, they still have RJ’s video where he states "Over the new few months we have a lot more coming. We're gonna start talking about our service network, our charging network -- what we call our Rivian Adventure Network, the way we will be distributing vehicles, how we'll do...
I’m surprised by the amount of vitriol Rivian is receiving today from other BEV owners about another “exclusive” L3 network.
I get that people are frustrated that they won’t get to use the RAN (or superchargers) with their vehicles. But I’m not sure why it should be Rivian’s responsibility to...
That's an interesting point. To note, there are 4 Colorado state parks in Northwestern Colorado. If this map included the L2 stations they are putting in all 42 Colorado state parks, I would expect dots in those areas. There are none on this map.
You don't want people driving into the state parks just to DCFC!
I'm more concerned that they are only installing two per state park. Might have to wake up early if you want to plug in during a Weekend day hike.
