I'll have to look at the fuse boxes and see if I can figure things out. The dessicant is interesting, seems like an active drying method would be needed. What if the pump activates when going through 3ft water? Does it have a remote intake above that level?
Interestingly, when I turned on the...
Looks identical to the ARB housing as well. I really doubt its the same though considering the temp monitoring and pressure control Rivian has. https://arbusa.com/site/wp-content/webp-express/webp-images/uploads/2018/10/Alpha-image.png.webp
Interesting. I've made many pressure vessels but in prototype/one off designs so didn't have these worries (although sometimes I don't accept jobs when high risk, just turned one down for pressurized hydrogen sulfide).
Screws are much easier to add than redoing tooling for heat staking (typically).
Also screws are more reliable than clips (clips break and tightness can't be adjusted).
Yes I can see why that strap would need to be serviced. Elastic straps break. Also no I don't want a plastic molded clip...
Found and fixed my issue!
It would click with the steering being turned at a stop. Had my son turn it back and forth while I crawled under (highest mode, tire change mode). It was coming from the front adjustment bolt on the right lower a-arm. I marked the adjuster location, loosened the nut...
In a few days, doing a trip of about 800 miles on I-90 and I-74. This is my first EV and first road trip in one.
I have a tesla to j1772 adapter for hotels. A 40ft j1772 extension. 100ft 120v extension cable.
Planning to use electrify America as it looks like the only viable option. Looks like...
That is definitely louder than mine. Sounds like a different thing.
I did find out I can replicate the clicking by just turning the steering wheel. I can do this one fully stopped it seems like something is moving just a hair and making the popping/clicking noise. I'll have to take some panels...
I'm surprised this is your conclusion from an "Automotive engineering".
Using a motor on each side complicates the control system, increasing failure points.
Too much torque required from one small motor? Gear reduction is a thing and we haven't seen any evidence lack of motor torque is the...
Starting to notice a set of clicking noises when pulling away from a stop and also when going into Regen at slow speeds.
It a series of clicks, maybe 4 then stops. It really sounds like taking up slack in the axle splines or CVs or something. Anyone else experience this?
I experience similar on level 1. No gain in mileage for many hours, then finally shows mileage after several (maybe 8?) Hours. Not sure if its a data recording issue or energy is being used to condition battery or something.
Edit, just checked. 0miles added for the first 8 hours plugged in, 2...
Interested... and yes...do it.
Mine wasn't closing or opening all the way. Some silicone spray on the rails and now it closes all the way (although seems like the end stops are not set quite right) as it closes more than needed and doesn't open quite all the way. Push and holding doesn't seem to...
I can get that vibration in mine, but I have to push the truck hard. Was driving in 100 degree weather and then did some full throttle/braking driving for about 10 minutes though some twisty roads. After that the compressor kicked into high gear (or is it a second compressor).
Medical equipment is person, situation specific. An ICU nurse or doc have extremely different operating situations than the field. They may see lots of gauze as silly.
However from field use, lots of gauze can be extremely useful to stabilize a device causing penetrating trauma.
I didn't buy the...
