My R1T does make a sort of quiet 'honk' to itself as it seems to go to sleep, funny sound.
When camping, be sure to disable proximity locking, you don't want the computers staying awake paying attention to what's around it and keys/phones that may be on the edge of detection range.
I don't see any reason why regen level would impact efficiency at all, excepting if setting to 'low' allows cruise control overspeed on downhills (like the Grape Vine). I wonder if the cruise control logic is allowed to use the full regen to slow you down if needed to keep you on target, even...
Note, there is no way to 'filter them out'.
Maybe you changed the display filter on the Nav map, but that is not the same as changing the Nav route planning preferences:
ps, yes EA sucks balls ?
Choose the charger from the Nav screen (or have it be added automatically as a mid-stop on your route, or the same from the mobile app). Don't navigate to the address of the charger.
Oh, hey all, yeah we're here, thanks for the shout-out Sarah...
On our R1T PDM Max, if the AC inverter is turned on we see about 1MPH drain, which adds up to like 3-4% per day. This isn't actually drain from the inverter or what's plugged into it, it's drain from the vehicle computers being...
Bla bla bla...there's no significant difference, and what differences there are only matter in tiny corner cases which people on the Internet love to debate endlessly about. Really, the magic of the R1 off-road is the suspension, but since we all have the same awesome long-travel, air ride...
I'm going to say flat out I don't really know.
Estimations of range on arrival seem pretty darn accurate to me, +/- maybe 5%, which considering all the myriad real world variables to factor, I'd call that impressive.
That being said, does it dynamically adjust based on observed efficiency? I...
Interesting that the votes are leaning Quad, yet the comments are leaning PDM.
If you don't care about range (daily driver / hot rod, few road trips) get the Quad and enjoy.
If you do care about range, get the PDM, the automatic clutch disconnect is a huge win for energy efficiency, saving...
Ah I've been wondering what the impact would be, sounds like the aluminum RTT was attenuating the GPS signal, which was then giving the auto-pilot/NAV trouble?
A few thoughts on the return trip video...
A, Team Rivian totally f'ed themselves at Green River which ruined their shot at 2nd place. I've seen some comments running around that they saw a poor review of the 350kw charger on PlugShare and so that was why they went for the 150, but there was...
Especially with those funky electronic buttons to open the doors with :p
Gen2 should be way better at vampire drain, give the software some time, they ain't fools over there.
That smells like the flag that you have a Tesla adapter is not set correctly. Without that, Prefer Tesla is just going to route you to Magic Dock stations (if along your route)
Double check those route planning settings I described several times in the last few postings... :p
That's not how one sets the route planning preferences.
Select a destination, do NOT press GO (do not collect $200), select Details, then Settings to adjust the route planning settings. If that's not quite clear please find 5 minutes to watch my video which shows this in detail:
Ah yeah okay, so that there is how you adjust the filter of what chargers the Navigation shows you on the map.

No to doubt you in any way, but can you please describe how you told it to ignore Rivian?
I.E., changing the nav map's charger display filter is not the same thing as changing the route planning charger preference settings:
FWIW there is no setting for charger speed in the route planning settings, only in the map's charger display settings. Rivian does make this just about as confusing as possible, with different settings in route planning (which is hard to find), map filtering, and on your mobile device. They...
