Wow, some of you are living the good life. I batting 1k; 2 impacts & 2 cracked windshields. After the 1st one, I try to avoid getting behind large commercial trucks, now after this latest one, I have to keep back at least 200 ft behind a corolla.
I've previously read several comments re the windshield glass and when my 1st windshield got a 10" crack from small pebble in Month 2 of ownership, I chalked it up to bad luck. But now in month 6 of ownership and windshield #2 cracked from a smaller than small, barely bigger than a grain of...
Wow, that's Very different from my experience. I'm at 6500miles and 1.81m/KWh with a mix of mostly All purpose, standard height / soft, and Conserve & low height / stiff for road trips to the mountains and beach from central NC. I figure I'd have to be in conserve nearly 100% of the time to...
I have done 6 trips from Cary to CB the past few months. There is a good charging station at the Mad Boar restaurant in Wallace. Towing a boat, you will definitely have to charge there. The biggest issue is that CB is a charging Desert. If you have the ability to charge in CB, you should be...
This is great news. Can we get some in destinations that desperately need charging for adventure vehicles.....Outer banks, Wilmington (charging desert), Carolina Beach / Fort Fischer, Linville Recreation area, Lake James State Park, etc.?
I also just took a very small rock to the windshield and now have to get it replaced. But my appointment isn’t for another 3 weeks. Surprised about how easily a small rock cracked the windshield. and I recently got the windows done with Xpel, including the windshield. seem to think I’ve taken...

Just 15 more days to get one tire replaced.
And yes, I checked all the local tire...
I havent asked Rivian to pay. They only said they could get me a tire in 1-2 days. And tirerack is back ordered. Local shops dont have the OEM tires. So why wouldnt I go with Rivian service? I'll pay for the tire. I never suggested I wouldnt.
All good questions; I'll try to answer -
- I didnt order a spare (Think I might now though)
- I have 22s, and Tirerack is back ordered on OEM tires
- Only expectation was set by Rivian CS when they told me they would replace it in 1-2days
- Still no info on the cost or who is going to pick up...
Trying to be patient, BUT, not for much longer. Has anyone else had a similar experience with Customer Service?
Had R1T 2 weeks, and got a nail in the tire sidewall. I dont have a spare. Called CS day of incident and told they will expedite a replacement to me in 1-2days. Then nothing...
