  1. **NEW** MPP "Triple-L" Ride Height Adjustment Kit For R1T/R1S - Lower/Lift/Level

I mix and match myself. Peoples heights I quote in ft-in eg. Any serious work though I use metric.
  2. **NEW** MPP "Triple-L" Ride Height Adjustment Kit For R1T/R1S - Lower/Lift/Level

If it was purely sarcastic, I apologize. But I notice you got a serious reply.
  3. **NEW** MPP "Triple-L" Ride Height Adjustment Kit For R1T/R1S - Lower/Lift/Level

Oh, please, really? Can you make Americans sound any dumber? 25.4 mm to the inch, so just use 25 for eyeballing. I do lots of DIY stuff and use metric exclusively. It's infinitely easier.
  4. Is it OK to keep the height setting low when driving around town?

I've already done that with the seat, really helps. Not available for the passenger tho. Used to be a trail runner, back before my knees went out 27 years ago. Got replacements 5 years ago. My knees are now my youngest and most reliable joints.
  5. Is it OK to keep the height setting low when driving around town?

It's really annoying to have to wait for kneeling to happen. Is it OK to drive around town (up to 55 mph) on city streets with the suspension set to stay as low as possible? Neither of us likes to have to jump down from the seats or climb up. My wife just had a knee replacement 2 days ago so the...
  6. Apple CarPlay coming to rival Tesla

I am an Apple only person, fully invested in the Apple ecosystem. However, I'm mystified by the demand for CP. I've used it on my son in laws car and on various rentals and it's an extremely annoying experience. When I'm navigating somewhere in Google Maps in CP (never warmed up to Apple Maps) I...
  7. Portable tire pump?

Nope it’s not a dead battery. I've looked at some 120v units too since there's an outlet right there. I'm mostly concerned about something small and not too heavy.
  8. Portable tire pump?

I'm considering this one. Looks pretty good on paper and is not too large. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CP3P1FKZ?ref=emc_p_m_5_i_atc&th=1

  10. R2 spotted charging via NACS port at Tesla Supercharger

Studies have shown I believe that the safest configuration is diagonal parking that you BACK INTO. We have a couple of places here in Tucson where it's implemented and it works fine. The back up cameras and lines are so good now it's easy. And for all those who claim they'd rather go head in...
  11. R2 spotted charging via NACS port at Tesla Supercharger

Oh good, they came to their senses.
  12. Charging rant from new owner still green around the gills

I suspect you are quoting the non member Tesla price. I have never paid anywhere near $.66 at any SC. Most typically it's .48 or less. And why would I use a fast charger near my house? As a side note I just got back from France and rented an EV there. The charging rates were mostly very high...
  13. Charging rant from new owner still green around the gills

I've used lots of RAN, Tesla and EA chargers. I'm pretty sure I have never used a charger from another company that was cheaper than ANY Tesla Supercharger I have used. The difference is dramatic. Tesla chargers are still the most reliable as well. For those reasons I hold my nose and use Tesla...
  14. Updated and Improved OEM Rivian Sunshade (August 2025) -- Pictures and Brief Review

When I follow that link it shows no Rivian compatible model.
  15. Updated and Improved OEM Rivian Sunshade (August 2025) -- Pictures and Brief Review

I bought one shortly after I got my R1S in January. It was heavy and clumsy. The velcro came off. I've replaced it with a wire shade off of eBay that's a lot easier to use.
  16. Keeping the R1S tolerable in 105 degree heat

I posted a thread a while ago about the Tesla setting that keeps the cabin to below a certain high temp. Ostensibly the sis to keep the screen protected from heat damage. I think in the Tesla the settings are 95, 100, or 105. It does not operate under 20% of battery like a lot of other things...
  17. Rivian’s New Color Palette for 2026~

Tesla is toxic right now, but the Tesla Red is just a perfect dark but iridescent red..
  18. Albuquerque RAN coming online today!

Kind of a waste IMHO. There's already usable Tesla SCs there, but there is nothing in Santa Fe. I have to charge in ABQ and Wagon Mound on the way through. Putting this station in Santa Fe would have made much more sense.
  19. Random Rivian Photos of the Day - Post Yours! 📸

Check your state. I was surprised it was available, but when I tell normal people they are not surprised. Doh!
