Having tuned cars for years, I wonder about EVs that loose mfg software support. Will the tuner community step in a juice F-150 lightnings?, add features to pre gen4 hardware teslas, give more performance to gen1 Rivians?

I’d say maybe. If they can co opt the transport wiring from MobileEye, they could use the mirror cutout for lidar/cameras. It likely would mean Gen3+ hardware to handle lower res cameras.

Agree. <30mph is closer. ~70-75 is selectable. There seems to an unknown area between them where one setting isn’t good for all normal situations.
