I tried it for the first time last week and ended up disabling it within a day. It would vibrate on turns even when I was centered and would alway push me further to the left curb, off-center. Not a dealbreaker, as I have had it on all cars I’ve owned in the past decade and have never used it.
That’s pretty loud! Typically the waking up of systems is more of a knocking and clanging sound for me, on both Rivian and Tesla. Never heard anything like this. Would think maybe the suspension, but my compressor doesn’t sound like this either.
I have experienced this for a couple of days now and I find that if you hold the steering at 9 and 3 or somewhere in between I can see it, but above that, my arm and hand block the view. Still good to have, but I always look over the shoulder to confirm.
I recently left the car unplugged in garage, while on vacation for 10 days. Left it at 50% and returned at 39.5%. According the ElectrFi most days it was a loss of .95 kWh with the lowest day at .71 kWh add highest at 1.45 kWh. In socal so nights were cooler and days got up around 85 high.
Move to CA, few weeks ago we saw a guy driving on temp tags that expired in 2021 ??‍♂️ but seriously, don’t move here. There are some other posts where Rivian was able to send them new tags before the old ones expired, best of luck!!
It does lock the windows for back seat, I think. When I used it over the weekend, the kids said we can’t open the windows and my son told me it’s because pet mode is on.
