Not sure about that. Between the differential and the other stuff underneath, my Jeep step in height is almost a foot higher than the ground clearance. With the floor of the R2 sitting on the battery pack, I expect floor height minus ground cleance to be less than the Jeep. We will see

Thanks. The ground clearance on my Jeep is about 6.5 inches. The step in height is 19.5 inches. So a pretty big diff. I'm hoping that with the floor of the R2 sitting on the battery, that it is roughly the same. So, I am still interested in the actual step in height.

Right. Currently my Renegade is about perfect for height. Any taller step in may be a problem. The problem with running boards is the RWD long range is on the ragged edge of what I want to spend (or slightly beyond it). If i need to spend $1K or $2k for a running board on top of that...

My wife and I are getting older and getting in and out of very tall (or very short) vehicles is getting harder. If anybody is at SXSW with a measuring tape, I would be eternally grateful if they could measure the step in height. Thanks in advance.
