We have a Turtleback Getaway, and range is consistently around 200 miles round trip (uphill and downhill combined). Luckily, we have access to a Rivian pull-through charger which makes it a lot more practical to use with the Rivian.
How tall is the hump? I made a platform for my fridge for when it isn't in the bed, but this is nicer... It's got small feet on it, but wondering if it will clear the hump.
If you submit a service ticket, they'll replace the whole thing... I had it done on the driver side within a month of ownership, and need to do it on the passenger side where the strap has ripped.
In mid 2022, mine would just cut my range in half and stay there. In 2023, it is adapting and landing on something accurate. I might be getting lucky with my efficiency with my trailer, but now it is clearly changing once I start driving, and last year, it never did that.
Sounds like my...
I'm pretty sure all it does is what you've described. I regularly switch from tow to off road and everything on the trailer appears to keep working properly.
As far as range calculations go, last year, it seemed like it would immediately just cut the range in half. As I drove, it would...
When I installed my sliders, I had noticeable rust already as well. My truck is over a year old and has been through a winter already, but I was still surprised to see it this soon. One of the frame rail bolts I removed let rusty water out when removed from the hole, so water was pooled up in...
I removed mine in about ten and a half minutes. I did it by myself, but for safety reasons, probably a two-person lift. I left the side rails on, and just unbolted the uprights from them.
Reinstall was a bit more time consuming. Getting everything lined up again took a bit of fiddling...
We just dug through our old small appliances and started bringing a Ninja multi-cooker. I don't bring the pressure cooker lid, but it's pretty versatile for the amount of space it takes up.
I've been eyeing the Rimrocker trail. It should be doable. When I've been on easier trails (1s, 2s , and 3s on TrailsOffroad.com's scale), it was pretty easy to maintain an average of around 1.5 mi/kWh with tires at about 38 PSI cold and Off-Road All Terrain. Have fun!
The Xtrusion Overland bed rack mounts a side rail to those attachment points that should be compatible with 15-series 80/20. They don't list it as a standalone product, but might be worth reaching out and seeing if they would sell it to you.
I have had my steering wheel not return to it's correct position occasionally, but I've never figured out the pattern. Could be I'm hitting the volume button. Submit a service ticket if you haven't - best way to get a bug identified and fixed is if we all report it.
@AaronInColorado Seeing the red R1T and comment about coming back from Moab... did I run into you and your sun on Chicken Corners last week? I was in a launch green R1T with a bed rack on it.
We have a winter storm warning for tonight, and I think we're about a month from really shedding winter...
I drove both the 20s and 22s (a loaner) in the snow. Much more time on the 20s, including interstate and mountain passes, but enough with the 22s to get a feel for them. The R1T was...
We have been using a 23Zero Walkabout 72 for the last couple years, and I would say that's comfortable for 3, and I guess you could squeeze 4 if you wanted to get cozy, but I don't think I would. That's a pretty big tent to be putting over the bed, and not something I have tried (we have a...
On a much older software version, I recorded 2% battery SOC loss in a 24 hour period, and then turned the outlets on with no load, and recorded around 8% in the next 24 hour period. I can't remember the version when I did it, but it would have been late spring or early summer last year.
