Reading your description of the sound makes me wonder if that is what I have. A couple of weeks ago I started to hear what I thought might be a little rock caught in the brake or something; could only hear it when driving slowly beside a building or barrier.
Could you please send me audio of...
glad to hear it worked out for you! I ended up finding a 2024 Dual Motor Large used and picked that up... might be driving through on the way to NW Ontario later this fall... cheers
I just bought my gen 1 2024 dual motor R1T a few weeks ago and have in at service right now for some warranty things. It's got 38k km on it. I noticed that front suspension didn't feel great, and the tech who went on a little drive with me said that the suspension can 'chirp' (or squeak) a bit...
Thanks for this tip. I see only a 0.1" difference in my stock tires and 21" rims with a 22" Rivian wheel and winter tires that a fellow is selling locally. I imagine a 0.1" difference is just fine.
cheers
You're right, of course... I just did a little googling and some sites recommend a maximum of one inch diameter difference, putting on the non-drive axle (so rear for R1Ts), going slow, and of course getting the proper wheel and tire back on ASAP

I am 5 days into ownership of a lightly used 2024 R1T. With electrical work going on at home I've used a local tesla supercharger and both times the adapter has been challenging... today I could not disconnect my vehicle from the charger: the charger was stuck in the adapter, and the adapter was...
did you get any resolution? I just got my 2024 R1T and discovered my Samsung S10 Android 12 won't work with app and so I guess I'm going phone shopping (grrr)
thanks, I'm a bit anxious with the various issues I read about on this forum (12v battery tending and failure, half shaft and dampener failures (especially when vehicle goes out of warranty), service wait times, etc.), but the folks I have personally spoken to who own seem to be having good...
I pick up my 2024 R1T this coming Monday. Hoping that the autosteer function (is it called Highway Assist?) works around much of the south coast area and Vancouver Island; I use it in my Tesla regularly, but I gather the Rivian version is not so capable
Anyone used one from here? https://realtruck.com/c/exterior-accessories/racks-carriers/headache-racks/v/rivian/r1t/
This seems to be the only one on the market (based on my Googling)
