I am guessing you did not precondition the battery and cabin (while being plugged in) prior to departure?
For this short trip, ur right. No precondition but for first trip (at 4 am) I have plugged all night long just to play safe considering the weather (-11 F)
…and this are the results of 25-27 miles of driving in -11 temps. No kneeling mode or adjusting to snow mode(air suspension warning on dashboard) and efficiency mileage drops significantly (as expected). All sensors are off too…
….and Tesla is going to open superchargers to everyone in near future.
PS
On my 23.000+ miles (and 99% using EA from public charging stations)I can’t complain. To hate EA I need a reason but I don’t have one…yet ?
Except home charging, everything else is EA charging. Why’s that? Cuz they have ev charging stations almost everywhere. And I said that after I have done my crisscross country trip (7.400+ miles) back in May. Using only EA, I found only one problem (Tallahassee Syndrome ?) in FL. The label has a...
Pirelli Scorpion A3(?) at $1304 total ( incl. warranty+tire rotation). Deal was done with Tire Discounters. I will emphasize this one more time…I still have some “life” in older tires and I will continue to use them next year but I want to play safe for the winter with new ones.
They started to build SA office after May. The info about Houston SC I’ve received from Aaron ((Rivian guide) at that time when I transitioned to San Antonio
Just replace them all last week after 22.000+ miles. I’ve had 2 tires rotation and the tires have some life remaining and I will use them for the next year (spring/fall). The same uneven tires worn…
Only thing I can think of that would be…R1T is a different beast/world than tundra and having over 22.000 miles driven in the last 8 months is a very interesting experience. I still believe that R1T is over engineered and way too powerful but I am enjoying it every second…
Have fun and be safe...
