Known (to me at least since Feb 2023) software issue. When you are in the vehicle, make sure the rear floor heat is on …that will cause the software to use hot air all around…..
You request a lease buyout from Chase, pay the amount owed and then sell to your buyer (written bill of sale is recommended). Any taxes/fees will vary by state as will the time it takes to get the Title in hand that you can then transfer to your Buyer.
If you are charging at a L2 charger (like a home charger), the plug is locked/unlocked with the doors and the charge stops when you remove the plug. If you were DC fast charging and it was unlocked and able to be removed while charging...there is a problem.
Yes. I've just made a habit of disabling the auto open/close of the side mirrors from about Dec 1 until probably April. If I know it's not going to be wet and I want to (for whatever reason), it's easy enough to fold the windows manually when I park......the vehicle menu comes up...
1. It's expensive
2. Even less range (come on with 250 miles which is roughly 200 usable)
3. It's a Jeep - that's not great for expected reliability, especially with EV...they can't even get their plug in hybrids to work right.....
Not competition at all.....excepting for those that are already...
Lucid survives only until the Saudi's loose interest. Rivian is in danger of the same unless R2 and R3 do the same as MY and M3 did for Tesla. The market (and tolerance) for ~$90K plus vehicles (electric or ICE) is limited.
This is a well known issue for all vehicle with LED headlights since they don't produce heat that would keep the lens clear. This is not a software issue. The solution is the addition of some sort of heating element (maybe they can do a small grid similar to the rear defroster?)...
Even 1x per month, if legitimately -20 and 5 hours might make the case against EV at the moment.....unless you have fast charging along the way and don't mind the stop (not an issue for me because I would want to stop for bathroom and/or food/coffee within that time period anyhow.
Income Limits: The deduction begins to phase out for single filers with a Modified Adjusted Gross Income (MAGI) over $100,000 and for married couples filing jointly with a MAGI over $200,000.
Deduction Limit: You can deduct a maximum of $10,000 in interest paid per year
It could be an issue. I love my Gen 1 R1T and even though I am an early, "day 1" reservation holder for R2, I might have to skip it. I can see adding an R3x as an additional vehicle (with the R1t) but there isn't a real compelling argument (for me) to add an R2 as an additional, but only as a...
There is something missing from your story. An early lease buyout is generally the sum of the remaining contracted payments, plus the defined residual value. It's pretty much set in black and white. If you saved "thousands" it was likely illusory because you wouldn't pay the part of the...
Respectfully, that is narrow-minded as it doesn't consider the many reasons why someone would want the vehicle but not want to drive it for "hundreds of thousand of miles", keep it past the warranty period, lock themselves into today's technology which is rapidly evolving. Additionally, plenty...
That’s all well and good and people who don’t have to be on the road in adverse weather should stay home…but some of us have to report for work (etc) regardless of weather (and some even more so in adverse conditions)…
The Guide program should have been ended a while ago. At this point they generally cause more stress and problems by spreading misinformation. It’s not necessarily their fault, but the program itself has been problematic all along…
Same setup here. When my A2Z adapter started dying was when the charge rate started great and slowed after a few minutes as you described. Your adapter is the prime suspect assuming you have tried a vehicle reset already.
FYI A2Z has good customer service and a 1 year warranty on their...
Agreed it's all conjecture at this pint and we'll see soon enough. As posted, they'd risk pricing themselves right out of business. This is the "big moment" for Rivian and they need numbers more than anything. They know the Tesla MY is the direct competition so pricing needs to be aggressive.
I was excited about this but love my R1T so much that I will probably wait for the 3 motor variant of the R2 to trade into, or keep my R1T and add an R3x when we get there!
