Can you show a diagram where you ran wire? More photo. I have found the USB C ports in the center console are the best for powering a screen. But I do t see a clean way to get power up center of the dash.

Does the OBD2 work for you because you are not drawing power when the phone is not attached? I’m seeing the OBD2 on gen 2 not shutting off. I assume the power is coming from the 12v battery and I don’t want my screen to drain the 12v battery.

You think the OBD-2 pulls power from the main battery or the small 12v battery? I assume it pulls power from 12v battery.

I tried OBD, but the power never turns off on a gen 2. I’m not excited to just tap into a wire.
