So it’s only on a scheduled charge? Is this so when you are driving down the road it does not precondition the battery? Basically wait until I plug in?
Perfect. Thank you. I’ve been going through the manual to see if I notice something that would help.
I have seen people reference hit the frunk button 5 times. Or taping the top menu bar five times.
are there ways into locked screen? Is the frunk another way to do a hard rest?
thanks in advance.
One issue, or I can’t find a button. My CarPlay in all my vehicles is triggered by holding the speaker button to activate voice commends.
I cannot find a way to activate voice commands in a Rivian R1S Gen 2. Is there a Bolton to activate voice commands?
it appears Alexia, is the vehicles way...
So many people recommend doing a Soft Reboot and Hard Reboot, you cannot search for how to do either.
Can someone post steps for a soft reboot? Hard Reboot?
Thanks
I was in downtown Minneapolis that night. When I drove home there was a 12 car pile up on 394, right out side of downtown. Then after that there was another 2 car crash. And on 100 south there was a car off the road. It was ice.
I was in a Highlander.
regen braking would be an issue on ice. As...
Curious if anyone puts a Victron shunt on the 12v battery to monitor SOC and draw on the battery. Because there is no alternator it gets charged by the main DC battery? Or during main battery charge from AC?
I wonder if monitoring would be helpful? I also wonder if a trickle charger when it’s...
For inside the Rivian you could buy separate components and get more power for less.
You have a battery, charger and inverter.
a larger battery is cheap. You can get a 48v 100ah battery for $700 to $800.
I did this for my Sprinter van. Had almost 12kw of power.
The best part is I can easily...
I’ve been a way for a while. What’s the score? Who is winning logic or no logic.
Last thing I read sounds like you get bonus points if you been in the forum for a while. Must be first to market advantage.
LOL. You got me. Did you score a point? Go ahead and take a victory lap.
Maybe start at the top of the thread. I did jump in until many people stated just ignore it. It’s fraud to invoice for something you didn’t do. Now it might be a mistake. We don’t know.
Do I now get a point? Or did you...
I have no idea if something was done wrong or actual fraud, but I would never blindly accept an invoice that states something was done that was not. I would call the service tech and ask or call Rivian. Just like the OP.
I should not pile more on but I can’t help myself.
If the OP had stated the exact same thing but he had to pay the invoice, would there be concerns? Or do you say it’s fixed, it does not matter? I’m sure he was busy and just input wrong. It’s all good.
If it’s your money you want it right. If...
Seriously, you live in denial. Yeah, Rivian has codes. If you spend 10 minutes, bill it as a test drive for 30 min, inflate tires to 49 (not 50, because that’s a 15 min service call) and make sure it’s an internal scan, or you will mess up our accounting.
You stick with this is just between...
