What alternate universe did I stumble into here? ?
Sunday dinner was courtesy of the older kid in celebration of the younger kidās birthday. Surf n Turf accompanied by gruyere/parm macān cheese...topped with crumbled Doritos.
I mean, weāre talking teenagers here.
I could be wrong on this but I think you might be able to glean where Rivian is opening the first delivery/service centers by looking at their career openings for āvehicle delivery/operations specialistā and āvehicle delivery/operations managerā.
Understandable. Again, being respectful that we are a bunch of small ecosystems contributing to the collective.
Here in Portland, Oregon, from what I understand, we are at the forefront nationally for wastewater treatment systems. Not that I take that for granted and dump whatever I want down...
With complete respect to you and the environment, I donāt even know how to reply to this. I never in a million years thought washing my car at home (using a sprayer that is only on when rinsing and using, well soap) was bad for the environment. I could switch to biodegradable soap.
I feel like an alien sometimes when Iām out washing my car; people just donāt seem to do it themselves much anymore. But I get joy from hand washing my new cars, like Iām promising to take care of them.
Then my kids and the youth sports carpool get in the car ?
Yep. Itās so beautiful here! I admit I was amazed by Utah for the first time recently but Oregon is about to go bonkers with springtime bloom. Hold on to your paddle boards and kayaks. There wonāt be enough time on the calendar to see everything you want to see!
Note: Make sure to plan...
Going with the 300 because thatās whatās available in the LE and Iāve already waited two years for that.
Iām a highly anxious, latchkey child of the 80ās with an active imagination and donāt want to wait any longer lest this yearās anticipated cicada swarm takes us all out. As my knuckles grip...
I appreciate your youthful optimism this will occur in the next few years! Iām a realist. Iām just hoping for the numerous potholes to get filled and assuming theyāll spend the rest on bike lanes. Ready for the cyclists to be mad at me but you know itās true! Pedal on people on your smooth...
I have mixed feelings on the studded tires and I can have the luxury of mixed feelings because I donāt have that overly audible commute you have. But because I live at elevation where we have ice events usually every winter, I see their value.
I personally subscribe to snow tires without studs...
Yes, great suggestion! I would completely be on board with a āRivian Jamboreeā in Moab. However, having literally just come from camping for 8 days in Moab (Arches, Canyonlands, DHSP) and Central Utah (Goblin Valley, Capital Reef) I am extremely concerned about taking a 300 pack to that part of...
I did the same exact thing!!!
Itās in the shop right now - no joke - with a broken window regulator (with the window all the way down in 40ish degree weather), and an infotainment system that keeps rebooting itself.
I pray Rivianās quality is as good as Iām hoping.
This must be a fun time for RJ and those that have been with him since essentially the beginning. You can hear the excitement and happiness in his voice. Like a kid when theyāve created something that theyāre proud of. Itās all coming together!!
What I take exception to (or at least scratch my head a bit about) is that itās marketed as an āadventure vehicleā that weāre to take out into the wild to off-road and get dirty and get nature and explore...and it doesnāt have a spare tire, standard.
Not necessarily a negative critique, but...
Adding on that Rivian could even sell the āAdventure Networkā online access and print magazine as an annual subscription, free the first year of your vehicle purchase. Itās something Iād pay for (nominal fee of course) but Rivian could also take a portion of the subscription fees and make a...
