Rhetorical question: why did they rush to assign guides for the R1S if they are so obviously not ready to deliver them?

I definitely think Rivian is paying a price for slow walking their infrastructure roll out.

It seems that only a handful at best of R1S folks have been contacted by a guide. Anyone else get contacted?

Not me. I’m doing a new creative financing option where I pay a small amount of money (roughly $1000) to say that I’m getting an R1S but Rivian never actually manufactures the vehicle and therefore I can’t “own” it. It’s really neat. You should try it.

There have been a couple reports in other threads. They should really combine them to avoid this issue…

Per Rivian’s email last week, certain R1S reservation holders were to finally be contacted by their guides this week. Did this actually happen. I’m desperate for any information that R1S deliveries are going to be happening…

My LE R1S has been reverted to the old price.

Air compressor and tow hooks are standard. Everything else is an add on.

Maybe Limestone is just a color that can’t be accurately captured by a camera or the human eye (or photoshop)?
