Easy to do on the down hill. There is a max on that screen of just a bit above 10 (I've achieved above 8 on a LONG down hill). The trick is what is the round trip average?
You're telling us you were getting 4+ miles per kWh in a Cybertruck? Baloney. I had a Model S for 30,000 miles and averaged about 4 mi/kWh and it is WAY more efficient than a Cybertruck. The Dirty Tesla YT channel had a Cybertruck and he reported about 2 mi/kWh for a long road trip early on...
I got a new iPhone and could not get it to pair. Got it to strangely pair, could do some things but not others. Fixed it by uninstalling the Rivian app and reinstalling it.
I’m doing the same. I reset Trip A just before a drive and find it is often wildly different than the values repported for the drive on the energy screen, especially if the drive is short, say under 10 miles. As a drive gets longer, the Trip A and energy screen Mi/kWh seem to asymptotically...
What finally fixed it for me was deleting the Rivian app and re-installing it. I also rebooted my iPhone 17 after the App deletion and after the app re-install.
I complained about that via the app just the other day:
"I must complain about the lights and the charge port door on my R1S. I drive home and park. I open the charge port door and try to plug in. The light bar is glaring in my eyes. Everything inside the charge port door is black. The tip...
Yeah, I found that in the car manual and I looked at the rear doors. Darned if I can see how to remove the piece they say I can remove to open a rear door if there is no power. The fronts appear easy to open.
With the laminated side window glass (two pieces of glass with plastic between) in the Tesla and the Rivian, breaking the glass doesn't work. Even "broken" it is still a barrier to getting out. Check out the DAErik YT video "BREAKING: Putting Tesla's New Laminated Glass to the Test" from four...
My pet peeve is not notifying you if a window has been left open unintentionally. My 8 year old Prius tells me a window is still open when I turn off the car. Tesla does it, come on Rivian.

Interestingly, the Technology Connections YT channel had a video about this "Electric cars prove we need to rethink brake lights" two years ago. It seems that all Hyundai/Kia E-GMP platform cars did NOT turn on the brake lights unless the brake pedal was pushed. He indicates that there is NO...
