It probably will have more to do with aerodynamics. If it has the same battery I don't see it being that much lighter, efficiency doesn't change much when you add payload. Looking forward to the R3X.
First what is MSP?
My guess on future R1 platform is a R1SXL (T wheelbase)
& get the real MP 11 module into the SXL & T to cut into the WT & future YukonXL/Suburban sales.
Be nice to see a R2T as well.
Looks like the R3 to me.
I would agree all speculative at this point, these appear to be...
Am I missing something? Does anyone make a 4 row suv/minivan, it's not even a vehicle segment to my knowledge.
This seems like more of a EDV van option.
I second CharonPDX. Poor aerodynamics are the primary cause of efficiency loss and since you only have 1 watercraft your hit to efficiency should be very low assuming it is a single unit trailer and the watercraft is centered behind the R1S.
I would like to see 20A plugs as well as V2H &V2V
What I would really like is the cab moved forward for more legroom for the R1S & bed length in the R1T, as much as I love the big frunk I would prefer 4-6" more cab or box length which translates into much more storage volume.
I don't care how...
I would say that is fair. They won't even let you have a convenient look? There hasn't been any test drive options in your vicinity this whole time?
There were enough positive reviews for me to make my decision at the time & now both of those things have been available here now for prospective...
So you are pretty close to a S/C & Rivians have been available in our area for well over a year with plenty of stock in the shop. Are you saying there hasn't been anything available to you?
I will be waiting for the refresh that adds 2 the two extra battery modules or additional kwh & likely a glove box as well.
l will be reserving the R3X as well when the time comes.
From what I understand the comparison was against the R1 in Sport mode. Since the updates I find the ride quality has improved significantly, but I don't spend too much time in sport mode lowest setting.
Am I missing something I don't believe Range Rover makes anything that competes with the R1T.
I would agree that a more budget model R1T along with a larger pack (2 more modules for 180kwh) would fill a need for many truck buyers.
What are you thoughts, do you think we will ever see the 2 additional battery modules added to the truck?
Would it be enough to boost sales in the truck market?
Is there enough of a market for a R1S XL with these additional modules?
I highly doubt you will make it on a full charge as the significant elevation gain takes a serious hit to efficiency.
I have towed many different trailers up mtn passes & get as low as .65m/kwh @ 60mph up the grades.
The way back should be no problem.
It is unlikely that the dual will have any measurable efficiency improvement while towing as they are both in AWD while towing.
Another member here did a unlaiden hwy test between the dual & quad(in conserve) and the result was they had identical efficiency.
I don't see how changing the bumper saved money, they ciuld have just dropped the tow hooks & left as an option.
Looks like only one option for a tow hook that would not look better once installed.
it just lost some Adventure. .
Canada is similar or more than California.
Curious how it is more capable than a F250 diesel (what year)?
Unfortunately the LX would use $118k in fuel alone at today's prices in your city to go that distance assuming 20mpg.
That buys a lot of solar panels.
I am not a huge fan of the bulbous...
I agree the updates won't likely have a significant impact on sales. The CT did NOT outsell the R1T 5:1, it was just a little more than 2:1 as the new flavour in town. The Lightning however outsold the R1T at the ratio you quoted which would be expected. On a more positive note the R1S is...
