I'm just going off articles like this one: https://nowhabersham.com/after-rivian-backs-away-from-georgia-factory-lawmakers-look-for-ways-to-punish-the-company/
Yeah they're already pissed. Pretty ironic, really. A year of legal red tape and burned cash, costing billions in market cap - and their legislators are looking at Rivian like hey wtf?
I keep buying, too. I'm still bullish but it might be a longer hold. There is a visceral reaction in the market from the R2 reveal (probably 100k+ reservations by now) and the surprise of the R3. When reservations open for the R3, I expect even more. I heard stories of people planning to reserve...
Was just browsing the r/TeslaModelY subreddit and there's an entire thread filled with people saying they just reserved the R2 to replace their MY. I know there were a good number of converts for the R1 platform but this feels like the substantial land grab Rivian needs. Very exciting time for...
The R3 and R3X have zero appeal to me - but I'm over the moon that it will be available for the countless people it does fit. This is so exciting for the company overall.
The Maverick and R1T are already awfully close in size. Not sure how much smaller a pickup can go. There are some good comparison shots here:

Can't answer for OP but I can't imagine these will be quieter than the Pirelli. I have KO2's on my Wrangler (very different vehicle, obviously) but they are loud AF
I'm pretty thrilled the R2 will be a baby R1S. And from what I can tell from the teasers, it's going to be attractive - unlike the M3, which has grown on me but still looks like a squished MS.
As others have said, they want to know that the Rivian is insured, not your last car. Was a very different experience for me after years of dealership buys who just trust you to get insurance once you take it home.
Gas at $4.05/gallon yesterday and PG&E charging me $.49/kw - it's officially cheaper to drive my Wrangler than my Rivian. Sad state of affairs out here in CA.
