Here's in my example from day from the Rivian Roam Dashboard:

For me, the UI and continuous improvement of the experience is my #1 driver towards RR. When I get to my dashboard in my phone, I can see al the main info that I need/want in a single view, very quickly.
Also, some fun data math it's already done for me (like Efficiency since last charge), as...
Richness is in the eye of the beholder :)
To some, a >$500 payment is too much, others think that $800 for a big vehicle is fair. To each their own.
Your neighbor is smart in terms of not facing a TON of depreciation in his purchase assuming maintenance isn't a big deal during his ownership...
As a data nerd, I love what Rivian Roamer has to offer, and now that I can import my data from ElectraFi, it's like Full Circle!
If you don't use Rivian Roamer Dashboard, I would encourage you to do so, it's an amazing site for nerds :)

This is very case-by-case dependent.
I've used the bed in my "T" a few times and I used the gear tunnel A LOT (Tennis stuff). I do agree that for my use, an "S" would be just as usable and the couple of times I needed to load the bed with branches and mulch, I could go ahead and rent a trailer...
Sleep time is one change. I was getting 11-15hrs of sleep and now I can't get more than 7 even if connected to a battery tender. I'm still making some measurements and tests so I can better compare with my precious ones.
I have a VERY Strong suspicious that Rivian changed their 12V charging algorithm and voltages in 2025.34 version software.
I have the "before" voltages but I haven't taken an "after" yet, but I do see my 12V charging behaving VERY differently after that update. If I have to guess, I think...
