Maybe but I still would like a simply pin system just like Tesla. Not a complicated two factor system that would work great for a desktop computer. Disappointed in this release.
Remember this was originally designed to be a work truck tough and basically immune to job site type damage with heavy tow capacity and lockable tool storage. Might work well for what it was designed for and there are a lot of pickups used exclusively for work out there.
FYI. My TP55 bit is a 3/8 drive socket. No way can you break those frame bolts loose unless you add a 3/8 to 1/2 adapter and use a 1/2 drive breaker bar or long ratchet.
Thanks everyone
Just submitted a service request. Not asking for my truck to go necessarily but suggesting they take just about any truck in the shop and take it on the expressway. Hopefully a fix will appear sooner rather than later
Have to admit this issue is easier to live with then when...
While using cruise control say at 70mph and in center lane of a multi lane highway following and pacing a vehicle in front of me all is good. As soon as I approach a semi in right lane and attempt to pass my vehicle slows and does not recover original set speed for some time. Appears semi to my...
Add me to the list I was trying to figure out if I was imagining the now softer application of hold lately. Personally I am ok with the new version of hold if it is going to stay this way and is not a firmware bug
I purchased a slightly used R1t a few months ago and had the same warranty concerns. Rivian responded they always have the right to refuse warranty coverage if a vehicle is modified or abused. Standard warranty terms. Nothing different whether new or used. I have been to service on two small...
Your very best and safest way to transport flammables is using a class 1 steel safety can. An approved safety class 1 can has spring loaded fill and vent caps that will vent pressure if needed and have a screen flame arrestor in the spouts. Also a good practice to leave some room for fuel...
Well you do have some unusual loads. If you can keep doing what you are doing and grab the nameplate data for your new electrician and then let him/her run the numbers we will soon be able to tell if your current electrical service is sufficient or if an upgrade to a 400 service is warranted...
So the inverters only pull 12 amps and they would not normally run 100% of the time together. Your electrician can quickly run a calculation using the many online worksheets that assign lighting and outlet amperage loads based on house sq footage and then you
add any special large loads such...
Nice plan. To restate what has been stated so far the electrical code is designed to prevent overheating and fires. It is very important to recognize following the electrical code is a BARE MINIMUM I always exceed when possible wire size and circuit capacities
That said a new multi circuit...
As Chris has stated I highly doubt that is a 400 rated electrical service. You may be able to look at your utility bill and it may state your service amperage. Also the meter face may state the rated amperage. I am guessing your service and meter are rated for between 100 and 200 amps max...

The system isn’t making sense to me. We know we have two separate double pole 125A breakers directly off the meter possibly disconnects only required by codes. Possibly one of those 125A breakers is supplying power to the 125A breaker in the breaker panel to the right. Not sure what...
If the panel with the 125 amp breaker is your main panel which is connected to your utility. 125 amps is usually sufficient to charge a single EV level 2 charger at max of 48 amps
concern I have is you have multiple panels that could have significant loads.
a 48 amp Ev circuit requires a 60...
