  1. Mammoth Lakes, CA RAN Charger is LIVE!!!

I always prefer the RAN. For me it’s a combination of brand loyalty, reliability and the vibe of the users. I will often go several miles out of my way for RAN vs others. Specifically at Telsa the reliability is great but the functionally/availability is a bit of a challenge with the...
  2. Mammoth Lakes, CA RAN Charger is LIVE!!!

This is great Rivian! It’s not so much another spot on the 395 route as it is a way to keep your vehicle charged in mammoth while staying for a few days. Many visitors are at a hotel or condo with no level 2 charge. I’ve heard from many folks that have to bulk up a charge in Bishop just to...
  3. R1S Scared of the Dark?

    That’s what that button does!?!
  4. Tesla Supercharger Pricing -- Per Kwh Cost for Rivian

I just drove yesterday from Santa Barbara to Mammoth Lakes. It was the first time with the adapter from Rivian that I just received. So I stopped for some short charges at two Tesla locations just to test it out. It was seamless and just a great piece of mind increase for me. Economically not...
  5. California WTS 20" Dark OEM wheels full set

    Do they have the sensors?
  6. Dogs and Rivians ?

You know it! I’m pretty sure she adjusted the temp from the rear screen.
  7. Dogs and Rivians ?

I’ve posted before about my dog never wanting to leave the Riv. This is just another example….
  8. Travel Kitchen Official Release. Now in Gear Shop

I dig it! I hear ya on the price, but the clean design integration with the case, drawer, cutting surface and lights are worth it in my opinion. For the function-only crowd a two burner portable induction is all you need. But I suspect we all purchased these vehicles for more than...
  9. Rear passenger door window trim popping off

Same. …except in So Cal. Not bothering me so I am patiently awaiting mobile service.
  10. I see spare tires are back in the gear store with no prices and the mini spare. Are owners buying? Any recommendations? I have a 2024 R1S

I bought one for my S, and I recommend it. I’ve never had to use it, but isn’t that the point… I see no cons as it replaced some storage that I didn’t even know I had. there is a video from I think Riviandad that shows how it deploys. I would recommend watching that video at least if not even...
  11. Rivian Announces The Yosemite Charging Outpost

This is straight-up the coolest thing Rivian!!! Brilliant on so many levels - location-wife approved restroom-vibe-branding-coffee-water….
  12. Rivian Connected Dog Collar Patent

I agree - Never! I had a long conversation with my dog about that subject this morning. She agreed.
  13. New Member - Switching over to an 2024 R1S from a 2022 Raptor.

I switched last year from an F250 to an R1S and have been happy with that decision ever since. However, the ride quality on that raptor is so good. You probably won’t count ride and handling as an improvement. Which is OK, there’s plenty of other things you’ll really like.
  14. Solid Floor Dog Hammock

Direct answer is no I have not tried it. But it looks better for my use than the non-rigid floor type. I suspect that the smaller panel on the bottom in some of the photos is the adjustment section. Maybe it folds under or wrinkles up for a smaller width?? It does however give dimensions...
  15. I need solar EV charging system advice

Thanks for this too. I am surprised how little engagement there is with customers and installers with respect to the panel manufacturer. Most people I talk to know how many panels they purchased, sometimes the wattage, rarely the manufacturer, and never the efficiency.
  16. I need solar EV charging system advice

You and Revelation came at it from different perspectives, but it looks like i need to increase my panel capacity a minimum. And based on the DC to DC charger potential costs, battery storage is in the mix too. Thanks
