Dunno if they're hinting at the tri motor, but on Thursday Rivian posted this on facebook 🤔

As far as I can tell, every picture in the post is an R2, and this shot has silver, yellow, and teal calipers... I don't remember them showing off teal...
Currently in a Volt, and I've also got a BRZ that I fit in (barely). For the 5, I have an entire fist of room above my head. If someone that's 7'1" can fit in an R2, I'm hoping that stuff'll scale for R3. Time shall tell, I suppose.
As someone who's 6'5" and eager for an R3X, I've been hoping that there's enough room in it for me. I've got plenty of headroom in an Ioniq 5, so here's hoping that R3X kinda matches that. This gives me some more hope!
I think people will find reasons to be disappointed no matter what's done. They could provide a fully detailed plan, and then people would get upset if/when it changes, or they could keep their cards close to their chest and have people upset that they're not sharing what could absolutely have...
I find it interesting that the cutouts for motorized rear windows and associated bolt holes are still there. Maybe something for the Tri sometime down the line?
Gemini saw to fixing his pants with a snazzy pair of Superman boots, and the S is now present as well 🤣
For whatever reason, it also added the S logo onto the speedbump
I've got a 2017 Volt, and it's typically great on trips, but yeah, driving through mountains.. ..that generator can SCREAM like it wants to tear itself apart unless you drop the speed enough to make it not sound like someone's gargling bees.
I think my biggest gripe is the overuse of "inconceivable". As someone with eyes on what's going on policy-wise, I can absolutely conceive gas sales in the US being dominant for decades to come and can absolutely conceive people buying cars that can't self-drive well beyond 2030.
When he talks...
I'd love to tag along this year, but it looks like it's a weekend that won't work for me this time around either :( One of these years I'll join. Will be absolutely sure to once I've got my R3X. (I doubt my Volt would appreciate the dunes)
Rivian made an electric ambulance for Grey's Anatomy
The "vanbulance" is a modified version of the Rivian Commercial Van.

Drove out west for a big trip in my Chevy Volt late last year and set the trip odometer to see how long the trip was.. ..Turns out, that rolls over after a couple thousand miles or so. Really neat to see that Rivian's trip odometer can handle hundreds of thousands of miles!
In my experience, GM doesn't care about their EVs when it comes to service. I currently have a 2017 Volt (yeah, not pure EV), and it took me 13 months to get a replacement EGR valve when the car failed on an out-of-state trip. The nearest dealer with a tech that was even allowed to look at it...
