  1. Georgia FS - Set of 22" Sport Brights with TPMS and Center Caps

I see a few very minor scratches in the pic you posted. Doesn’t appear to be a major damage such as curbs damage or large scrapes. I’m good with minor scratches that I can see in the picture. I would likely have the wheels powder coated at some point so minor blemishes are not a concern for...
  2. Georgia FS - Set of 22" Sport Brights with TPMS and Center Caps

I will take them and pay some towards shipping If you decide to ship at any point.
  3. CyberTruck is more than Stainless Steel...Tesla excels at Engineering in so many ways.

Drive selector is on the screen like the S and X and I think now the model 3 highland. The overhead is a secondary way to control gears increase of center screen failure and also the way teslas are shifted in Valet mode...
  4. CyberTruck is more than Stainless Steel...Tesla excels at Engineering in so many ways.

11000 lbs trailer should have 1100 to 1550 lbs of tongue weight. 10-15% with 12-13% being ideal. So if you have 1100 lbs of tongue weight and a payload capacity of 1500 lbs you only have 400 lbs of payload left for extra people, gear, and added vehicle accessories
  5. CyberTruck is more than Stainless Steel...Tesla excels at Engineering in so many ways.

Tongue weight is payload. Tongue weight needs to be subtracted from available payload capacity. Lower payload capacity vehicles can have most of their rated capacity eaten up by tongue weight.
  6. CyberTruck is more than Stainless Steel...Tesla excels at Engineering in so many ways.

Biggest advantage of 48 volt is a lot less copper need to deliver the same power that a 12 volt delivers. Lot less copper needed running wires to everything that is 12 volts. Just think of the cable size being used to run from the battery to stereo amp. On 48 volt that cable can be...
  7. Official Cybertruck Pricing - Starts at $60K+

If I needed a pickup that dual motor cybertruck for 79990 is a pretty compelling offering. NACS connector and access to the entire supercharger network is worth the price of admission in an electric pickup. It would actually be my first choice if I was in need of a bed I think out of all the...
  8. What jack should I use for tire rotations?

7000 lbs is the max rating. It is a bit weird and takes some attention to each lift point used in the orientation for the jack to reach the lift points as you lift but once you get it down it’s quick and easy. https://www.quickjack.com/car-lifts/7000tlx/
  9. What jack should I use for tire rotations?

This is what I use. Works great. Rated for just enough to do the job. Prefer to do it myself cause then I know it’s done correctly. I’ve just seen tire people mess up to much stuff. Can also drink beer while doing it and not have to worry about getting a dui if I had a rotation at a tire store
  10. R1 refresh update coming in 2024 with upgraded “Ascent” trim / model

Unless you are a high miler…. 175,000 miles high you should still be under warranty. Failed drive motor would be Rivian’s problem at 6 years and if you are under 175,000 miles. Bosch motors will have to be kept in Rivian’s inventory for at least 8 years after the last quad motor is sold...
  11. Wheel size update?

If you are upsizing in the swap I wouldn’t worry about. Calculations and comsumption may be a bit off but on upsizing your odometer will be off which means you accumulate miles slower. Longer warranty that way. 10% larger from the 21’s means another 17,000-18,000 miles or so you can put on...
  12. Best Way to Change a Tire Offroad?

I’ve done this procedure many times and as recently as last week on my work pickup (ram 3500) on some logging roads…. Nosed off the logging road at an angle and floated the rear tire iHaven’t done it on a Rivian yet but I never use a jack offroad…. I find an off camber style spot that when...
  13. Boise Idaho Area

Not sure if any Boise area Rivian or EV owners frequent downtown…. But the city of Boise offers ZEV parking for $10 annual permit. No plugging a meter as permit is electronically tied to your license plate. Wouldn’t take too many times of parking downtown for the $10 dollars fee to pay for...
  14. Poll - What do you use to charge your Rivian?

Have a couple gen3 Tesla chargers on the garage walls. One j1772 and one NACS.
  15. R1S Max Pack Now Available in Configurator!

Adding NACs charge capability and getting access to the Tesla supercharger network is a much easier and way cheaper way to add 30-40 miles of range. This max pack makes sense if you have to rely on the current CCS network and for a few unique individual situations
  16. Can't select past 30 amp charge rate w/ Ford Charge Station Pro

Since you mention TOU rates…. You don’t have your scheduled charging set “on” the Rivian do you? What is your amp limit under your scheduled charging? I noticed the other day I was dinking around with the app and got into the scheduled charging and it was set to 30 amps, maybe by default or...
  17. Tesla Superchargers open to Non-Tesla (28 locations and counting as of 9/29/23)

I also think they are going first with under utilized charging stations. Also if they are near other CCS charging stations is a bit deciding. A new EVCS charger went up next to a Supercharger station just recently…. I see the Magic dock is up now on that supercharger station I frequently use...
  18. Rivian tire change blues!

On the R1S and even the tesla I am not a fan of the quickjack rubber blocks. They deform and compress a bit under each of these vehicles. Probably going to order some UHMW blocks to replace the rubber…. Or just make some out of some steel tubing. from a mechanical prospective and use...
  19. Rivian tire change blues!

My RIS scales out at a few pounds under 7000. No underbody shield or spare. Lifts rated for 7000 according to their documentation so within their limits to lift my R1S
