Did the same thing with a couple of vehicles and had the same experience. Most dealers were jerks about the process and didn't want to participate, but each time had one dealer that was happy to play and got the business. Was a quick and easy sale for both of us. Win-win.

I'm quite sensitive to VOCs, etc and HATE new car smell and new materials off-gassing, etc. Never had any issues at the start of the Gen 1 T back in '23, and nothing since. The only other Rivian I've been in was a test drive last year (just for fun) of the Gen 2 quad, didn't notice anything...

I'd get it inspected at a service center before buying it. Could be nothing serious, or could be a big deal...

I don't think it's been officially confirmed (I could be wrong), but pretty sure the R2 will only fit a compact spare. Save to assume since it's smaller than the R1S and it can't fit a full size spare.
