  1. Idle fee hate

Do you mean the rate is dynamic after plugging in, instead of being fixed at the moment of initiation? Seems sketchy.
  2. Fun AI Images of Your Rivian - Try This and Post Yours

Props to @jaywee , here’s some people off to their next adventure - with a future self-driving upgrade.
  3. Fun AI Images of Your Rivian - Try This and Post Yours

It’s interesting, as I didn’t even upload an image - just said I wanted an R1T with the background to be an image of the Canyon from an airship, on 40 inch tires, with a rooftop tent. It got close, adding the winch and lifting the vehicle on its own. Nice.
  4. Fun AI Images of Your Rivian - Try This and Post Yours

Too fun - it must be a Gen 7, based on the door emblem - it even gave me a built-in winch!
  5. R1S owner gets a taste of R1T truck life and fills a bed with flowers. What's your first "truck stuff" moment?

Someone needs to make a steel-bar doohickey that mounts into the trailer hitch and curves up and tees out left and right to protect the vehicle from fork lift driver exuberance.
  6. Ev tax in Oregon

The railroad industry has complained for years, entirely correctly in my opinion, that the trucking industry is significantly subsidized by various state and federal treasuries in that the vast majority of the expense of road repair is caused by the use of heavy road vehicles. Rail companies...
  7. Urgent Help: Software Update Blocked on Rare So Flo Rivian

To whom are you addressing this question? You're on a Rivian fans forum, not a corporate page, if that is your confusion. You should be able to tell from the tone here that there's little sympathy for your self-induced predicament. I can hazard a guess why you're not getting a "normal...
  8. Issues charging at home on 240v with the Portable charger

It took me a while to re-find it, but this 2 year old stack exchange discussion is informative. TLDR: It can be many things, but tripping after an hour is probably heat related, possibly with cheaper components involved...
  9. Issues charging at home on 240v with the Portable charger

The code-mandated GFCI outlets for EV charging is an overreach, as any decent quality EV charging unit does circuit testing itself, and will often trip the GFCI system. GFCIs certainly come in a variety of quality levels themselves, and what may work for many applications may well not work well...
  10. Brake Lights on Deceleration

The Rivian has sufficient brainpower that it could flicker the brake lights when it sees someone approaching at undesirable closing rate.
  11. Can we talk about this CT winch bumper?

That thing should have been designed in and connected to 400v from the get-go.
  12. Steel Tonneau Cover

I've seen other posts with image problems. I think the site upgrade is still having teething pains.
  13. Hot take: Google Maps is not really much of an upgrade

Isn't the EVs-allowed on HOV lanes (on interstates) going away with the recent legislation?
  14. What Can I Do Without Voiding Original Warranties?

Unless you survive that one, in which case you get a Gary badge with a jetpack.
  15. *PRE-SALE* on now for MPP Ultra Stainless Steel Brake Lines (R1T / R1S)

Has anyone considered stainless steel liners for all exposed wiring that rodents might snack on?
  16. Broken roof glass was replaced with a different type of glass

Living only a few miles from that SC myself, and trying my best to buy the newest Quad "real soon now", this concerns me, and I can't help but wonder where the SC could source this glass if it was not Rivian OEM parts.
