My understanding is that the bulk of the subsidies in China are from local governments. While a theoretically centralized economy, China is the most competitive market for EVs in the world. What Xiaomi has pulled off is impressive.

I have happily lived without either software. Tesla and Rivian have spoiled me with great software. Tried Android Auto in rental cars. It sucked.

Makes sense. Definitely not for me then. That's my issue with legacy car makers. Hardware may be great but software is so so at best. Add the fun of buying through a dealer...

My understanding is that a semi active suspension allows for a softer more comfortable suspension at low speeds while firming it up at higher speeds. Wish it was available on premium version.

I thought that 22 R1T had 2 12v batteries. On our EV they usually die every 3 years.

2 rear dampers and clutch disconnect replaced. 12v battery lasted 3 years. 1st gen PTC was changed to a new version. All under warranty. Shredded rear tire and pin stripes are my bad. Now scheduled an appointment for front axle noise and vibration under hard Regen. Love the truck.
