  1. Do NACS Rivians work on non-NACS RAN?

Last night I was at an an event about the new Quad R1 at the Rivian Space in San Francisco and was told by some Rivian Engineers (though admittedly not from the charging team) that the NACS Rivians will be able to use *most* of the Tesla network because they will have the hardware for the Tesla...
  2. Electrify Expo x Thunderbolt Adventure Supply - get your discounted tickets!

Hey folks! Hi folks! Electrify Expo's next stop is the Bay Area. Specifically Alameda Point. Rivian will be there along with a bunch of other EV makers. I heard a rumor that Rivian will have something special -- maybe R2? There will be test drives available for cars, trucks, e-bikes and more...
  3. Rivian Patent Filing - R1S / R2S Camp Kitchen

I was unaware that there is an R1S varient that does not have the t-track. Have you seen one in person?
  4. DECKED Drawer System for R1T

And our teenager is now well over 6 feet tall, so he doesn't really fit in those tight spaces anymore 🤪
  5. DECKED Drawer System for R1T

Great to hear our product is working well for you! Would love to see photos when you get a chance to take those pictures!
  6. DECKED Drawer System for R1T

Thanks! We like the Decked product, but agree with what many folks here have said - for most people, it's not the best solution for the R1T.
  7. What do you park your Rivian next to?

A bunch of bikes. This pic was taken right after we got the R1T in May of '22 so some of those bikes have left the stable and a few others have been added :)
  8. Oregon Coast Trip (Video)

What a fun adventure! Good to see folks with littles doing big road trips. We did our share when the kids were little and they would have been so much better with the Rivian! Since you've got a little... I wanted to let you know about a book written by fellow Rivian owner and one of our...
  9. Newbie Camper Setup Help Requested

Great list! I would add that at REI as well as some local sporting goods stores offer rental equipment if you want to try it out before making a bunch of purchases. To the above list I would add bring insect spray (depending on your location this can make a new camper never want to go back...
  10. Recovery Gear + Bed Glider to the rescue!

Yes! It's not in these photos as we were running our Gear Tunnel Kitchen for this trip.
  11. Help me complete my setup

I humbly recommend the Thunderbolt Adventure Supply Overland Kitchen with Gear Sled for a premium cooking experience. Super quick set up and clean up. In addition, it's much easier to access all of that gear you're planning to put in the bed with our Bed Glider - especially with the Rooftop Tent...
  12. Recovery Gear + Bed Glider to the rescue!

Thanks - we love our Bed Glider! It was born out of the necessity to get things out from under a closed tonneau or the RTT. Started with plywood prototype and evolved into the current product. We also have a spare in our spare compartment but it's pretty roomy so our recovery gear and Morrflate...
  13. Recovery Gear + Bed Glider to the rescue!

This wasn’t a spicy trail. Really just a fire road, so we were not anticipating needing the gear. The bed gliders make sliding the gear out from under the tent easy as well as give is multiple spots to lash down so everything stays where we put it.
  14. Recovery Gear + Bed Glider to the rescue!

At the end of June, we drove from San Francisco to Redmond, OR for the Overland Expo PNW. We decided to find a dispersed campsite in the Shasta-Trinity National Forest on the way north. To get to the spot Matthew had scouted on OnXMaps, we had to move some trees that had fallen across the road...
  15. Autodesk Article: Thunderbolt Adventure Supply Makes Rivian Camp Kitchens a Reality

Thanks for posting! We just rolled into Redmond to attend Overland Expo PNW. I see you’re from Portland. Any chance you’re coming to the show? Hope our paths cross soon!
  16. Father's day weekend trip to the mountains

Looks like a good time was had by all! We've been using HipCamp for a couple of years now - especially for high demand weekends. We've found great campsites and friendly hosts!
