Great news. I have used a trifold for years on a Ram truck. It was pretty watertight and only fluttered a bit at speed. I had a rear opening window and it was only noticeable when the window was open. Not a problem here.
Check out the DIY temporary tonneau/ bed cover thread. A couple guys have used a trifold tonneau meant for a Ford Maverick that seems to be a good option.
Check out the DIY Temporary Tonneau / bed cover thread. A couple guys have tried a trifold cover meant for a Ford Maverick and it looks pretty good to me. I may cancel my manual tonneau order. I have used a trifold for years with a RAM truck. The manual tonneau seems like more work to...
Thanks for the quick reply. I am very familiar with these trifold covers. They will move around and do flutter a bit at high speed. I could only ever hear it when the back window was open on my Ram. Not an issue here without an opening back window.
Good job all!! Looking very trucky to me! My old Ram 1500 had a 5 1/2' bed and this is slightly shorter, but longer with the trick tailgate. Should suit me very well.
Rivian reports that there are four panels to the manual tonneau that go into a bag and fit in the gear tunnel. I had a manual tonneau on my Ram 1500 and very seldom took it off, so I was actually more interested in the manual one expecting there would be problems with the power tonneau which...
I reserved the Adventure version that included the power tonneau. I will take the manual one instead, but will they reduce the price by the $750 difference? no indication so far.
From their website: This is the optional factory XPEL PPF wrap.
What areas are covered?
Front Paint Protection covers all painted surfaces on the front of the vehicle, including the entire hood, front bumper, fenders and mirror caps.
Thanks for the tip. I have added it to my order. I had requested information on PPF for the front end. Never heard anything, but this is just what I was looking for.
It's a simple matter to check the torque. Does anyone know the recommended torque requirement for that knuckle fastener? Worth a quick check immediately then let service confirm it.
