Front motor on my dual. Had a weird buzzing / whining noise coming from it. The frustrating thing is, it came back from the service center “all good” for another problem but they failed to let me know about this until I re-booked it in. Oh well, it got sorted once I booked it in for that...

I think I’m with you - not sure - but certainly when I now ease off the accelerator on freeways and then re-engage (enough to cause regenerative and then engage the rear wheels) I certainly get what feels like a “jolt” - I’m having the service center look at it just in case, but certainly...

It used to (I say used to as I’ve noticed it suddenly does start to kneel on my driveway that’s on a slope now) not kneel if the grade was too steep for it (not sure why) so that could be a factor - if you know it’s not going to kneel, you can work around this by selecting “Sport” a moment...

Does it not come with the free 90 day return? Rivian are pretty accommodating I have to say, if you speak with them first - I.e letting them understand the need for the charger before you get the free one, they may let you get the new one, then return it as a stop gap… but speak to them first...

I guess with the option to power your house from it, it could also help with your home electric bills?

Got a SilvErado - not bad for the stop gap, but ultimately a basic model as you’d expect from a rental. Happy enough.

For sure, if that’s ALL you want to see there - I was merely noting as a pure personal preference of switching the compass out for that and still being able to have say the map… perhaps it’s a case of being spoilt with all the different configurations and fully appreciate it’s a first world...
