This is absolutely phenomenal. I drilled down on the R1S using the Tableau dashboard and was able find at least three parameters that threw you into 2024:
Color: LA Silver has 16 orders shown, two to ship in 2023, and 14 to ship in 24...
State: If you live in Illinois, you won the...
I was moved from 2H23 to 2024. Adventure edition, Canyon Red, 22" wheels and OC interior. I live about 12 miles from the Bellevue service center. December 21 order date.
I don't think LA Silver is the common denominator here...I think Rivian is putting all their efforts into the R1T line, and...
Mine doesn't even state which quarter or months... It just states... "2024" , which is 6-12 months after my original estimate for the R1S (Ordered in 12/21) of 2H23.
I am not usually a negative person but this really sucks. Cmon, Rivian, you can do better than this.
I am curious about this as well. Because the R1S has a cabin that is the length of the car, when pulling a trailer that is about the same height or less than the cabin, and thus giving (theoretically) less wind resistance, how does the energy consumption look when towing from the R1S vs the R1T?
Correct me if I am wrong, and I am not an accountant here, but IIRC, if your car is depreciated 100%, (Say a $90,000 truck depreciated $90,000) when you sell if five years later for $50,000, you will need to treat that sell price as income.
True. It's hard to find a lot of things, expecially completed assemblies like a complicated truck with non Chinese components. But whenever possible, I do everything possible to avoid Chinese products.
You guys realize what happened, don't you? Someone at the Rivian mothership was monitoring RivianForums, and saw this thread. They then contacted Tony...
Tony's buddy: "Hey Tony, just saw the odds on Rivian Forums at 2-1 that we won't get any email out about delivery dates..."
Tony: "Really...
Seeing this Video caused me to change from 20's to 22's. I don't think there will be much of an issue with the 1-2 snows a year we get in the Seattle area with those tires, and I don't foresee going off road much.
