  1. RCV Camper Van? I'd buy in a heartbeat.

A camper van is totally on brand for them. Maybe they'll release one themselves on a similar platform.
  2. RCV Camper Van? I'd buy in a heartbeat.

Well that's probably when they'd be able to start delivering if they announced it now anyways.
  3. RCV Camper Van? I'd buy in a heartbeat.

Any chance Rivian will open up the RCV platform and make a camper van? It's 1000% in their "Adventure" brand and I'd buy one in a heartbeat. ????????????
  4. Rivian R1T One Year Owner's Review @ 14 months 20k miles

I actually think the charge port location is great. However I'm also coming from a leaf where the charge port is in the front. I'm fine with backing in but I know my wife isn't. (She crashed into the garage doing so ?โ€โ™‚๏ธ) Ideally cars should have multiple charge points... No real reason they...
  5. Outdoor Home Charger Installation?

Honestly I don't understand why one needs an app for a charger when all the timing functions is handled in the car. Been that way for me in my Leaf since 2011. Does Rivian not have charging timers in the car?
  6. Rivian May Have Found Solution to Its Biggest Problem (The Street)

That can't be right can it? Although if that's the case I just need to save $100/day and I can pay with cold hard cash. ?

The Leaf is a great car! Besides it looking really strange and the range not being good it's very fun and peppy to drive. My previous car was a Civic hybrid and that thing was a dog performance wise. I called it Bessie when going up hills ? The Leaf working fine after all these years (on...

It is. I had a Y on order but cancelled in December because of the no tax credit. (At the time) I ordered a 3 row at the time but finally got a chance to check it out and it was worthless. Almost died getting into it.

There has to be parking somewhat near there. I used to work in Venice.
  10. R1S Shop access live with lots of inventory!

Ok this is a stupid question... Maybe... But I have to put down a deposit to access? I'm completely new to the Rivian way. Is there a guide somewhere or article to read about it? I'm assuming of we order now we no longer have access to those prices. Sad face

Interesting. I'm 5'11 and my wife is 6'. My Leaf is higher up than a model 3.... Seems very low when I try to get into that car which I'm not a huge fan of. I'll head down to the Rivian hub soon to check it out. I've seen a bunch of R1Ts around and R1Ss but not recently for some reason. Thanks...

Yes my wife will not be able to control herself. Obviously. ?

Oh and the 110 plug and air compressor... I could go on... haha... Rivian really knows how to design a useful vehicle.

One thing I REALLY like about Rivian is where they put the charge port - no need to back in. I also love that it's a true SUV and the third row is usable. I tried to get into the third row of a Y and practically threw out my back and my head hit the window and my knees died. ? X third row is...

Nice. I'll check it out next month when I have a break from my insane work schedule. Ha.

I've been driving a Leaf for 12 years... pre ordered and everything. Fully committed to driving electric and never going back. The Leaf was the only option really back then unless I wanted a Tesla Roadster. I've been thinking of getting a Tesla 3 and then Y but could never justify the price...
