Happy Thanksgiving all
I installed the update two nights ago and drove 70+miles on both local and highway yesterday.. I somehow feel the ride quality has improved after this update... Anyone has noticed the same?
Just checked Rivian's website again... the available features from the autonomy platform+ (free till end of 2024) include only the Lane Change on Command...
The Enhanced Highway Assist (coming late 2024) and Driving Comfort Assist (coming 2025) are not yet available....
I personally wouldn't...
3 weeks into the ownership I found the first unexpected wear and tear --- at the plastic cover at the inner side of B pillar caused by safety belt buckle hitting it...
There was a couple of times that I pressed and held the brake while manually adjusting the height when the vehicle was in park... I can hear some noises from the wheels and feel small movements of the vehicle after released the brake..
Does it do any harm to the drive system or the suspension?
the update details say:
Fixed a rare USB disconnect issue on the front USB-C outlets.
Fixed a rare issue causing disconnects of the USB drive, which disabled Drive Cam features that use a USB storage device and prevented charging from USB outlets in the vehicle.
we will see
When I woke up the vehicle this morning, the rear sensors malfunction warning didn't show up, but the center console USB-C power supply was down.... it seems like the R1S chose the lesser evil (?) between these two problems...
