I think I this is certainly possible. Battery longevity and range loss over time will probably dictate that. Unclear if they are being very conservative or not, but range loss seems pretty minimal for most owners. Tesla of course got in trouble for raising and lowering this with various updates...

Had the SC look at two of my door handles for squeaking/rubbing like that. They improved in some, I think just with lubrication but now another one is doing it. I think it’s probably just going to come and go depending on dirt and grime vs lubrication levels.
I also got a “system error” when I’d correct the wheel enough to cancel ADAS. My guess is that’s just a typo error message that comes up every time you override it, and they needed to fix that.
I do strongly suspect that 2mi/kwh (or close to it) is what the nav uses to estimate range remaining at your destination. The estimated range-at-destination is dynamic, way more pessimistic, and closer to realistic than one based on an EPA-rated calculation would be.
