It tows 7800lbs 178miles. ??āāļø
Iāll have zero issue punting the dyson SUV for the charging network, software, less complex CT.
if I was on a VPN&throw away acct I might share the āvaultā pics showing how large it is inside. ?ā?ļø?
Nah, a lot of us do OF, film a lot of the content yāall dream of on xvids/xnxx and have zero issues with EVs of any design. #dysontruck or #8bittruck
I own one such R1S. However, the crumple zone on these vehicles (where the tow hook mounts) is a replaceable part, independent of the whole frame under the rig.
I may post photos of the design and fab of the front receiver we made for the r1s to haul a ārack n rideā with EV dirtbike.
Youād have to delete the radar modules in each corner of the bumper. I wouldnāt count on this being an option for mostā¦. Unless software reconfig starts being offered. No radar modules will limit the vehicleās speed, ask me how I know.
To be fair, the rivian lower bumper has 2 radar units and parking sensors. Where that winch is mounted is a factory crash structure, likely meaning that theyāve had to reengineer that part to accommodate everything(read: winch).
Having gone through the front of the vehicle without parts on it...

mcu - still done
Seats
Purchasable refresh (front clip) bumpers/headlights/hood/side cameras.

much like the tesla version. Exploded diagrams for parts sales would make everyoneās life easier.
sadly, this will be like most things rivian⦠left up to each service center so that they might be able to make a policy or procedure that best suits the manager...
Given your location and the fact you've got a low mile R1S, I'd say your best and most advantageous option would be to sell it private party. eBay, Cars and bids, Bringatrailer, myev.com will likely net you somewhere above 85.
edit: saw someone else said the same.
Suspension system can be maintained by most mclaren indy shops, they have experience changing accumulators and repressurizing the system.
itās typical Monroe/Tenneco CVSA2 units on each corner.
They absolutely are prohibitively expensive to own outside of warranty. From the service hourly rate being on part with exotic dealerships to the Bentley/RR level complication with suspension, electronics, and a pack that requires as much work as a 6.0 Ford F series truck to get at the...
this is common with new stations fresh after PTO. Happened with the BRP one and a few others on I-5. Tejon has a whole bank of superchargers that are access restricted (parking lot closed) after a certain time in the evening.
