  1. L2 charger down to 2.7kwh at 24F.. Should I be worried?

It would be interesting to see what those time slices were reporting
  2. L2 charger down to 2.7kwh at 24F.. Should I be worried?

Has anyone who is experiencing this issue found this to be new behavior, like after December update or something? Anyone out there not experience this on their gen2 at all? Informal poll, since SC from multiple locations are indicating this is normal behavior
  3. L2 charger down to 2.7kwh at 24F.. Should I be worried?

I did this three times on my home charger. Second time was two days after the first full charge, with half an hour DC charge in between. Every single time I've had the same experience. And support is now telling me this is normal behavior. I'm starting to have serious buyers remorse
  4. Good app for keeping track of charging?

Thanks! I was hoping for something that kept the more granular data, like charging rate throughout the session. I'm having trouble with the charging rate over 80% and would like a better recording option than screenshots on my phone
  5. L2 charger down to 2.7kwh at 24F.. Should I be worried?

It seems to be happening across a number of us, at various temperatures. No dashboard warnings. I think yours is a separate issue. It's what I keep hearing too, from rivian reps I talk to. But the adapter and cord, everything is very cool. I agree, it seems the SC don't have a system to...
  6. Good app for keeping track of charging?

Hello all, Is there a good app for keeping track of rivian charging history? Tessie did a good job of that for Tesla. It would allow me to remember history of charging times and kw rates as I recall, where it was, etc. it kept track of my trips and battery usage as well which is cool. Is...
  7. L2 charger down to 2.7kwh at 24F.. Should I be worried?

So I tried charging my car and at 90 percent it drops again. 8 hrs to charge ten percent
  8. L2 charger down to 2.7kwh at 24F.. Should I be worried?

Further update once hitting 90 it still tanks. Five hrs to charge 7% Once it hit 90 it dropped to 2.7kw. once it hit, 97 it dropped to 1.7.
  9. L2 charger down to 2.7kwh at 24F.. Should I be worried?

Update: support thought it might have to do with the heat pump as it conditions the battery. After replacing that, another part, and the rear evaporator I have heat again, and home charging only dropped to 7kwh in the mid 80s
  10. Connecticut OEM R1S All-Weather Floor Mats

Gen 1 and Gen 2 floor mats aren't compatible. Dunno what's different though
  11. Most memorable moment with your Rivian in 2024?

Driving my brand new (6 days) r1s home for three hours in 12 degree weather with the heat completely broken. Had to stop on the way home to buy a blanket, hand warmers, and gloves I was so cold. Had three hours to consider for the steering wheel gets cold before it starts warming again
  12. Gen 2 Steering Wheel Heater Issue

Yeah that sounds plausible. I really hope the same. Hopefully they figure it out before a critical article calls them out on it.
  13. Gen 2 Steering Wheel Heater Issue

I don't know the bit, but I suppose it's true. Like airplane wifi sucking so bad it's unuseable ( last time I flew anyways) if the steering wheel heat actually lets the steering wheel get cold, then that's not good user experience. I haven't seen another car where this is the case, and none of...
  14. Gen 2 Steering Wheel Heater Issue

My model y had multiple steering wheel levels and both stayed a consistent temperature (not cold haha)
  15. Gen 2 Steering Wheel Heater Issue

I can confirm this is the behavior of my brand new gen2. It gets warm then waits until the steering wheel is legitimately cold in some spots and warm nowhere before it warms up again. Verified with the tech this is expected behavior. It kind of sucks really.
  16. L2 charger down to 2.7kwh at 24F.. Should I be worried?

That's true rates can slow, but the rivian tech support guy said that's mostly DC charging. And taking 13 hrs to top off ten percent is just not practical. Rivian is looking into it, and he said it might be related to to the heat pump. I'll update the thread when I learn more. Best wishes...
  17. L2 charger down to 2.7kwh at 24F.. Should I be worried?

So I charged my r1s at a charge point on my way home yesterday, went nice and fast. I charged again on my home charger when I got home yesterday and it started off strong, 11kw until it got to 82%. Then it dropped to 2.2% after 90%. Then after 96% it dropped to 1.7. That's 102kwh in 14 hrs...
