I can try a hard reset, that's a good idea thanks. I don't know anyone with an adapter unfortunately. But when I get home I will try charging again, under 80 and over 80. I'm going to charge on my way home also and pray it goes at decent rate. What do you all who are experiencing this issue...

Final tally: 66 miles in a little over 11.5 hrs. Interestingly enough I started heating the cabin at the end and it bumped up to 6.7kw. It implies that there is a software issue on the rivian side. The drive took more battery than expected, so I'll be finding out soon if it's just over 80%...

I didn't see battery temp anywhere but I did see that it's at 48amps. Also for someone who asked, I have the max pack. This is the first time I've tried charging starting over 80%, and first time to 100%. Basically the second time charging

I don't know NEMA 14/50 is but I'll look it up and try. I also have a friend with a Tesla charger I'll try there also thank you.

It was just over 80%. You and some others have been seeing the same thing? That theory sounds plausible. My charging was going fine before I started at over 80%. Last night I've gained 58 miles in 8 hrs. As much as I love it maybe I should return it while I still had it less than a week.

Woke up it's been at 1kw. I stopped the charging and tried to start... And it's back to 2.7 kw. It did spike to 11kwh for one ten min slice at 3:29 am

Thanks everyone for confirming this is abnormal. Just talked to support who wants me to isolate what the problem is. I'll be trying to charge other places.. not positive I'll drive my brand new rivian on the family trip tomorrow though

I just looked and it dropped to 1.5kwh. this is crazy. I checked the breaker, charger, adapter.. everything is cool. I unplugged the charger from the car and back... And I'm back to 2.7 again. Do I need to heat my cabin to heat the battery?

Thank you for the reply. It's colder this time than when I was charging 10x as fast two days ago. Could the temperature outside not be a factor either? Maybe I should check the cable and charger?

I should add I'm using a Tesla home charger and an A2Z adapter

Just got my new R1S and charging for basically the second time. It's been in the 20s all night. I've been charging 3.5 hrs and it's charged 7%. It started at 11kwh for ten minutes then dropped to 6.9 for 80 minutes and has been at 2.7 ever since. At this rate I'll hit 100% by the time I have...
