    Thanks...sounds like we are making the same move. Did you receive an initial R1T estimated date? Do you have a new R1S estimated date?

    Has anyone changed their configuration? How difficult/fast was the process? Have you received a new delivery window after doing so? I have an early order LE R1T that I am looking to change to a LE R1S after attending the First Drive event at the end of last year. Have reached out a few times...

    could also be a million things not related to the trucks. Covid could’ve hit the small team running the event. Could’ve been a number of things.

    that’s why I said “all but drive…” you are the one who said a lot of people were going to just check them out and see them for the first time. My point is that they can still do that. it’s not about making excuses…it’s providing a logical explanation given your pseudo conspiracy theories

    because you could drive to Venice and do all of that but drive the road portion. The course was built, and times scheduled, to take into account the whole course. Given just the road course (and how insane they were about safety) they likely couldn’t fulfill most of the reservations.

    agree to disagree then…I drove the course and with the amount of rain we got there is no way that it would be fit for the event. Now, could you still do the paved portion? Sure. But that was the smallest portion of the course from a time behind the wheel perspective.

    good not great. I’d say as good as they need to be though
