I have noticed an increase, may be just I am watching more, but will try to track. I charged to 85% 2 nights ago and before I got in the truck it was already down to 84%. Last night I charged to 70% and may not drive today, so I will keep an eye out.

I have a ‘23 Quad, VIN IN THE 20xxx range. I took delivery this year. I am on 27.01. I don’t user driver + much, so don’t know if there are any issues with that.

Always losses when you change voltage levels, can’t get something for nothing ?, but hopefully less than an dc/ac/dc.

I also have an electrical engineering degree (it has been 36 years since I studied and I have worked in ac utilities for my entire career), but this is what I was referencing...

There are such things as dc step up transformers. Looks like the voltage range is pretty limited (right now). I am sure if there is a need some electrical engineer will figure out a way. This will increase losses, but hopefully not as much as dc/ac/dc conversion.

Sounds like a good idea, save some energy on the AC/DC inverter. Would be good to have it direct connect to a external battery for storage when the vehicle doesn’t need a charge.

It does play when I touch start. I turned off WiFi, but of course cellular was on, so still not sure. I can download the books to my phone so I can listen when not connected.

So I was playing with the new app and tried to download a book from Audible. I didn’t see a way to force a download, but it poking more icons on the screen I saw 2 settings for Audible. 1 was a slide to enable Spatial Audio. The other was to delete downloads and it showed I was using about 3 GB...

Thanks for the words of patience. The update finished, took a little over an hour. Tried out my go to music on Apple Music and it sounds really good.

So this is my third update. The other 2 showed progress after I hit “go”, but this update is staying at 0. Which is the normal? Never mind, I was too impatient. It is showing progress now.

Both are true, but that is one of the largest consumers of electricity in the house and it had not been mentioned, so it was only another thought.

The folks at your utility might be able to look your account and tell you if there is a constant draw or if it is in spikes.

I didn’t see this (scanned all the messages) but if you have an electric water heater one element may be bad. if an element is shorted it could be running all the time or if It is just not working the other element may be running all the time to heat the water.
